For me this still all revolves around the Ricoh and the Ricoh only. Honestly don't believe the owners will build a new ground. Therefore can see us staying at Northampton for a lot longer than any of us envisaged if everyone stays intransigent.

Would we not make a bit of money or keep things ticking over without losing money then NW if we filled Sixfields? Guess this all once again comes down to how much rent we are paying there. Lots of figures bounded about.

You also have to add to that mix the fact that hardly a single City supporter trurst these owners. Talk is cheap.

RFC, don't wish to keep going on about this, but nothing is certain. We believe the situation be temporary, it should be temporay, but we also know how weak the FL are. Please tell me what happens in this scenario. That we all go to Sixfields, but that no agreement can be found to return to...

I only got as far as 'I would love a massive Stevie G' and then I stopped reading.

Very true, Could be a fair few of Northampton neutral locals go just to watch this one game.

Anyone bear witness to the very bad defending for the USA's first goal last night. Dear me was that a piss poor, half hearted attempt at a tackle.

Yes indeed, but there are degrees of failure. Failing by losing out in the final isn't quite the same as failing to get out of the qualifying group or losing in the round of 16.

We fail at every tournament. Doesn't matter what formation we play. :pointlaugh:

I too was thinking it might well be worth having a gamble on Shaw. He's bigger and stronger than Baines I feel.

I only watch the Beeb and Hodgson said on the Beeb he should be fit.

What Rooney brings you is a degree of intelligence (well on the pitch at least.) He is great at finding and creating space and at switching play too. An on form Rooney is an advantage to this England side. Trouble is, at the moment he is out of form. Not convinced with any degree of certainty...

    England v Uruguay

Draw will be fine, but I think we will win. I'd be inclined to play Rooney, but in something more like his normal position. If we can't accommodate him there I would drop him. I'd also go for a a very attacking line up and would field both Sterling and Oxlade-Chamberlain in the side. Scare...

Hockey World Cup - Extra player on the pitch

Exactly. They broke the rules and had an unfair advantage. How is suspending the captain for the next game, which is obviously after the competition has ended, any sort of just punishment?

I think so too. A draw and a win and I think we'll be through. This is England all over and England fans all over. Very dismissive, very cautious, very un-optimisitc. I don't think we will win the competition, but see no reason why we can't reach the quarter-finals or at a push even the...

That's what Hodgson has said. I really like Wilshere. I think he's a really good player. Just his fitness that is the issue I feel. For me Ox and Sterling down the flanks would scare any opposition to death.
