    Ex Player Watch

Stockport are fairly big spenders for the level. Similar to the likes of Adam Rooney and Paul Mulling dropping down for the money more than anything.

    January transfer window

We will have paid up some of that contract, he won't have left for nothing. Its also largely accepted he probably wasn't on huge money in the first place so it's hardly going to free up a tonne of cash.

    Championship 21/22

Just watching Quest, Bournemouth showing us how it's done against Swansea playing their highline. Tore it to shreds, admittedly they obviously have very good players but so many chances from simple balls down the channels.

<HIGHLIGHTS> Coventry City vs Bristol City

Walker is smiling when Godden scores. Too many firsts today.

Good appointment, surprised he's going there. Just seen Warnock was told at 10Am today he was being sacked. Seems to have been handled pretty poorly. (Said only Gibson gave support behind the scenes)

Agree 100%. I'm a big Maatsen fan, as you say young kid who panicked and made a s stupid mistake. He won't make it again I'm sure.

It was hardly a shit half, it was a stupid decision by a young player, other than that we were mediocre, it needed slight adjustments to make us more of a threat.

Seems odd timing. Not a bad result 1-1 away from home to WBA. I realise their form isn't great but just seems like they delayed a decision they had already made...

To be fair, people always ask for subs without considering the impact of the whole change or if it will even make an impact at all. It's not as simple as so many on here make it sound, but luckily Robins isn't a bedwetter like many on here. (That isn't to say Robins doesn't make mistakes with...

Confirmed. It's the end of the world. Sheaf having a good game and O'Hare has scored. All that needs to happen next is a dabo assist.

It's not necessarily a must win but it's important to get a good result going into the international break for me. I mentioned on another thread that our run of games after the break is probably our toughest of the season on paper. So a result on Saturday is welcome from that perspective.

    Walker

He was probably the best player on the pitch for us against Preston. Blackburn he was neither here nor there but scored which is what a striker is on the pitch to do.

Video Coventry City v Swansea City highlights

Its nowhere near marginal, it is quite clearly offside even in that. I do agree tho we have had plenty of opportunities to deal with it after that point

Jones was the wrong choice. It's just ended up with huge gaps between the midfield and attackers. Very frustrating

It's actually a really good game. We were shook for 15 minutes but it's an open game.

Oh nick it's nothing to do with bottling it, what did you want him to do there exactly? Battering ram the keeper and give a free kick? The performance is frustrating but come off it. Complain about things that actually need complaining about

Poor from JCS and poor from Moore, he really should be saving that.

    Hyam

What I think is often overlooked as a huge plus with Hyam is that he is almost always fit/available. How many games has he missed due to injury, illness or suspension? I can only think of one period and that was when he was hit by a driver doing a 100mph. Same can't be said for any of our other...
