Exactly this, don't expect this rich vein of form to last all season but a couple of patches like this throughout the season are vital. Since the turn of the year he has added the much needed end product to his guile.
He was never ever droppable but he is certainly looking more like a top end...
Defending set pieces has been shocking. Other than that once again they look shit but they have made us look even worse, need something up top with gyokeres they are marshalling him so well.
So, championship clubs don't have any clue how poor his goal contributions are despite having been able to watch/scout O'Hare all season and having access to better statistical data? But they see someone running around so they think they need to foul him/double up? That must make Allen an even...
Let's wait and see next year with a full pre-season. He's not a dynamic attacking option but his stats suggest about 4/5 assists a season which isn't bad. Plus a couple of goals.
I also feel that it give us the option to move to a back 4 moving forward depending on recruitment goals in summer.
I'm sorry but one person's eyes a few hundred metres away, against tried and trusted technology is hardly a great argument. And the video/angle we have on video isn't good enough to be sure. Unless Hawkeye was off then I'm inclined to think all of the ball wasn't over.
I thought there was Hawkeye in the championship since 2017? So I don't understand how it hasn't been given if it is truly over the line. It might be the angle on the picture which makes it look all the way over.
Looking at their results that sounds like a load of rubbish. They have had some good form interrupted by a number of poor results too. Not sure it's accurate although they are definitely a better proposition than under Jokanovic. Or is it just goal different you are talking about? Rather than...
Not sure I agree, not sure we can say our attacking play has been poor with 2 promotions in 3 years. And then the limited players/budget for the championship in comparison to competitors.
The reality is its the hardest position to recruit for though. Everyone is looking for the cheapest...
To be fair, they could argue the mig-29 is a far more defensive fighter than most, it's capabilities are relatively limited in comparison to other aircraft and it's primary (and basically only use for most variants) is air superiority.
