Match Thread Shef Utd - Coventry City Match Thread Wednesday 25th Feb 19.45 KO

I don't think he was trying to rub salt in the wounds intentionally, but I have to admit that did irk me a little. The sunglasses moment was a "club moment", not a "player moment". Not going to labour on the point, though, as I said then and still now, have no issue with O'Hare. Great player...

Match Thread Shef Utd - Coventry City Match Thread Wednesday 25th Feb 19.45 KO

Probably running on a few minutes of sleep and about to head out to work. I'm exhausted, it's going to be a long day. The Hawthorns and Bramall Lane are two grounds you historically just feel you are going to be lucky to walk away with one point, and we've just picked up three points from both...

He was the referee at Preston, wasn't he? I remember yelling at him at one stage about being a "printery c**t" or something.... everyone around me quite rightly looked at me a bit bewildered...

Whilst I agree the disallowed goal should have been given, but looking at individual moments fails to convey just how much of a demolition job Coventry did on Notts County that night. Nolan was a fraud, and football won. Notts County were appalling.

Match Thread Shef Utd - Coventry City Match Thread Wednesday 25th Feb 19.45 KO

At risk of going slightly off topic and on a tangent, leaving aside City due to my own bias, Middlesbrough are a good side, maybe a striker away from being a very good side. Sheffield Utd on the other hand play shit football and every time they go up stink the Premier League out. Actually why I...

Tactically - Lampard is pretty good

This is pretty much where I was/am at. We were still creating chances and good stuff was happening, even in games we weren't playing particularly well. Just look at Norwich, we had two great chances before Norwich got the winner, it could easily had been the reverse scoreline. That is not to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Inspired by the most logical race in the universe, the Vulcans, breeding will be permitted once every seven years. For many of you, this will mean much less breeding. But for me, much much more!

Match Thread Coventry City - Middlesbrough Match Thread - Monday 16th Feb

Whilst I would say football forums are not exactly known as a bastion of nuanced conversation, I think most football fans are the same. I know I can sometimes be quick to diminish the quality or achievements of other teams, I certainly know I am not above the reactionary nature of being a...

Thought Tats was immense tonight especially with some, maybe justifiably at the time, clamoring for Esse. Tats is the choice in games where we are playing against a strong opposition, and that turn before the first was just beautiful.

    Ref watch

Sorry, I got the referee wrong for tonight. It was actually Hayden Hackney (Could have been Aidan Morris or Luke Ayling, to be fair)
