We need a new keeper sharpish. We also need at least another good defender and another midfielder to play the ball winning position. We also need cover for Reda and Nouble too. Those 2 go missing and we lose at least 50% of the physicality of the whole team.

Jackson and Nouble seems such a better fit than Nouble and McQuoid. Jackson is better at making space for himself, is more skilful and a lot quicker too. Puzzled as to why SP went with Nouble and McQuoid from the off.

It is. Very much cloudied by that 2nd half effort. I know mine was. Had it been in reverse with the 2nd half being today's 1st, I am sure I would have marked so much lower.

Would agree with that. The type of player you build a team around and you really need to make sure you have the right players around him to allow him to do what he does best.

Same here. I couldn't quite work out who of the defenders was at fault for the goals, but I marked him high for the very presence he brought to the team today. A true leader and I think his combatative style rubbed off on all the other players.

He did play quite well against Bristol too, yes. He really needs a ball winning midfielder around him to thrive I feel. He's definitely got the skill, there can be no doubt about that.
