Sounds like good news (the second tweet, I’m not anti-Brazilian)

    What next?

The more I think about the Hall of Fame idea, or some kind of permanent CCFC museum, the more I like it. Can we get space at the Ricoh, or Arena Park or even somewhere in town or a bit of the Herbert? Then if/when we move it can be relocated. Could have an online element with historic...

    What next?

Here’s a random thought: Sell advertising that’s also flags/banners. Basically a company pay for a giant CCFC flag, perhaps sourced from the clubs designs, with their name tastefully on there, then that goes up in the closed/empty sections along with fan ones and the club ones for free/reduced...

    Season Tickets - Rallying Cry!

Are the club asking? Do they have a contact? Would it be better received coming from voters fans? Don’t know. My worry is we leave everything to the club to approve/initiate and it’ll never happen as they just don’t think about this stuff and are generally very conservative. The more we can...

    What next?

Overarching all this, any changes need to be done scientifically. Set an aim (say increasing attendance or spend or length of visit), design a trial to see if it works, take feedback and iterate until it either works or you drop it and do the next thing. Long story short all the stakeholders in...

Better to go direct to whoever is responsible at the council. Roads team or marketing or whatever perhaps? As it’s an A road will it be managed by the council? I assume street furniture is still their remit even if not. Who is the local councillor for that area and the others included in the...

Going off this: New analysis of lateral flow tests shows specificity of at least 99.9% Which admittedly is a government source. The sensitivity measure was from a medical site but I can’t find it now.

    Sarah Everard

This is standard toddler “someone else is getting attention” stuff. Oh the black people are complaining, why can’t we talk about me a white guy? Oh the women are complaining, why can’t we talk about men? Said it before, do these people shout loudly “Happy Birthday to EVERYONE WHO HAS A...

Not sure that’s true. Specificity of the test is 99.9% - 99.97% which is 3-10 false positives per 10,000, not 1-3 per 1,000 firstly. Also the sensitivity is around 75%, so you’re missing almost 1 in 4 true positives. Basically I don’t think your numbers add up at all, the test is highly...

With the spirit of this 100%, but no, the club have not “done their job” simply by turning up and that’s the attitude that’s at the heart of their issues. They need to start caring about the product they’re selling. Improve the experience, get the word out, their job doesn’t end with price setting.

If you could have one new thing at the Ricoh

We won’t hit 20k with a shit experience. This is classic failed company thinking. Just squeeze more out the idiots still paying, we can’t afford to attract new customers.
