Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Recent evidence suggests brain plasticity isn’t lost in adulthood as much as thought. It’s mostly economic. Old people have less economic mobility and are reliant on assets more to maintain their lifestyle (I.e. care less about wages and more about pensions and house prices).

I used to work for young Earth creationists at Grace Academy. Bunch of loons, never met anyone as batshit in real life before or since.

There was an article in the CT about Vanguard Ave (the road with the craters) and how the company that owned it has gone bust and no one is taking responsibility and the council won’t adopt until it’s up to scratch. The franchisees of the takeout places need to club together, get it up to...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You’d assume as a percentage though that we send more non-perishables further abroad so a hit on perishables would hit the EU trade disproportionately

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Weve got to or the economy is proper fucked. I can’t see any way it’ll get back to the same levels, adding in trade barriers always shrinks your economy, that’s just basic trade. Party politics aside, my one hope for Johnson in power was he’d spend to make us world class at ... something...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But we’re talking about the huge disparity between the drop in EU exports and the rest. Not the overall picture. Personally I think it’ll bounce back as a lot of people stockpiled and are still getting used to the forms, but that’s still Brexit. We’ll see where it is this time next year. The...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Can you elaborate on this? Exports dropped sharply when Brexit kicked in and only to the EU. Hell of a coincidence if it’s not Brexit.

That’s classic Tory messaging. Pick up in a recession (or cause one) then take credit when the bounce back happens. Worked in 2010, will work in 2021.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Not really. The only people pushing this are the far left and the right, which should tell you all you need to know. Been saying for over a year not to expect that 40+% to drop for the Tories. Opening up. Vaccines. Brexit delivered just a few months ago. PM with the biggest cult following of...

Doesn’t explain why Burge benefits does it? Why does Burge come off better under that analysis? I’d have thought the recent spate of old threads being bumped would give you a little perspective on the average quality of fans opinions of players.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Anyone would think it’s a mishmash of patriotic bollocks designed to rile people up to vote against their own interests and enrich the upper classes.
