Just said I thought he might be better than the level he is currently at. Some players progress, others regress. Dom Hyam was slated after his defending in the 6-2 defeat at home to Yeovil in League 2. Fans here were then upset that we only got £1.5m from Blackburn for him a few seasons later...

This division is annoying, in that - the fans perception/enjoyment of the season aside, there is no difference between finishing 7th or 21st. Mind you, even if they incentivise it by rewarding teams for league position, the players won't give a toss, unless the money ends up in their pockets.
