Who feels like smashing things up?

Yep. I did like the film, but at the same time I found it frustrating. From what I recall you start off thinking he is just a normal guy having a bad day who then he loses his cool on this particular day, but then as the film wears on, it is explained away that he is a man who has real mental...

Who feels like smashing things up?

Yep. I think this excerpt from a critical review sums it up better than me and shows how we could have interpreted differently. Joel Schumacher's urban paranoid tale, Falling Down, cannot decide whether its hero is an ordinary human being or a deranged psychopath. Playing it both ways, the...

Who feels like smashing things up?

I haven't seen it for a while, but I have seen it twice and I thought it very much came across as laying it on thick that he had mental health problems for some considerable time. Oh well. All in the interpretation we all make as individuals I suppose.

Who feels like smashing things up?

But they already had the Michael Douglas character as having problems with mental health. It would have been so much more powerful had they had him seemingly as a much more 'normal' man. I think we should have seen the disintegration on screen, rather than have him explained away as someone...

Who feels like smashing things up?

I like that film, but it frustrates the hell out of me. Think they missed a trick. For me the guy should have been just a normal guy gradually pushed to the limits until he snapped, rather than the filmmakers simply paint him as someone with mental problems. Could have been an absolute...

    Chelsea

I think the answer is, newsworthy, most definitely, but not headline news. It still was an ugly incident and makes you wonder how much racism is still prevalent in the football world in particular. Anyway, if these fans are so proud to be racist, then they should be principled enough to make...

Wasps question that could affect CCFC

With Wasps giving away free tickets at the same time is it possible families that may have gone to CCFC will go to wasps for free, then potentially long term it replaces CCFC. Err, no. On the whole, football fans are football fans and rugby fans are rugby fans. Surely the way to go anyway...

    Sheff utd ratings

We have to ask ourselves, just how little confidence will we now be taking into the MK Dons game next week? Before the game yesterday you would have to say a draw would be an excellent point for us, but bearing in mind the way the game player out, that was definitely 2 points lost.

    Darren Ferguson

Oooh, get you!! You can take him if you want, but he's just not my type and the thought of a fat old git orgy simply doesn't appeal at all to me.

When are the pitchforks and torches coming out?

We are Coventry City fans. We have service station plastic sporks and those little pocket wind-up torches, so the best we can come up with is to sit down en masse and eat little salad pots while shining a bit of light into the cupboard under the stairs.
