That's true, I've never been to an Ice Hockey game, so it's unfair to comment, would like to tho :) And agreed about the rarity of football games. I think there was a triple sunday on SS once, and there was 2 or 3 goals scored in 3 games lol :sleep:

I'd say football the most exciting sport in that anything can happen in a second. whereas rugby etc, it's built up gradually. Look at the JPT vs PNE, 2 quick goals in 2 minutes to win, you don't see that in other sports

do you mean what will happen as in will people watch Sphinx? Or do you mean what will happen to CCFC?

To be fair tho, If you were charging 1,000 pounds per month to rent your single bedroom student flat, and people kept paying that 1k, you wouldn't say have 500 quid back would you?

what I meant was, in the last couple of seasons they have become a very good club/hard to beat. Been managed well, good local support, and get results

It stopped for a very important reason, sometimes there is more to life than football. Only sometimes though.

I just can't understand how with today's internet age, only 15 k have signed. If we were going door to door in the 90's fair enough, but I'd estimate 75% of the world has internet access now

I think my post was removed. But in reply to your post, agreed, very sad :( My father was the first to start supporting CCFC, living in Hillfields in the 70s, so I am only second generation, but the club is a huge part of our lifes, and it kills us being unable to watch them play at home in...
