L1 though, we’re two and a half seasons later and have had glaring holes in the squad since McCallum was sold. Meanwhile we’ve signed quality everywhere else on the pitch.

Just wish we could do it in defence TBH. Kane looks like excellent business but Badlan seems to have a blind spot for LWBs and CBs.

He’s got a great shot and if he can get back to running at defences he’ll be a real asset I think. We’re desperately short of dangerous forwards. All ours can either run but not shoot or score but not create.

Hamer and Sheaf are a great midfield duo at this level and picked up for under £2m for the pair. Outstanding business.

Never understood why this was in doubt. It’s obvious in that situation all resources are stretched and taking some will have knock on effects elsewhere. It’s just the media got everyone into a tizz about cute animals and everyone lost their mind.
