In an ideal world I'd buy a CM and a young CF and loan in a wide forward/winger for either side. If we get 2 of those in I'll be content enough however.

Wright and Sakamoto are ridiculously good wide forwards for this level. Simms played his part too, occupied the defence well.
If King backs Robins with a couple of signings the march to the arch is on again.

This isn't against Binks who individually I think is a decent player but that defence misses Kitching a lot.

Historically the Riverside not a happy hunting ground but they must hate playing us recently. Robins seems to have the upper hand on Carrick so hoping for a win.

Oxford are a decent league 1 team. If we think we can get past them playing a load of out of form/past it/young players all at once we'll find ourselves heading out the cup again. It rarely works.
