    Having tried to avoid using percentages, if the sell on is reduced from 15% of €80m to 10%, the total fees the club receive will be the same because 5% of €80m = the €4m already received as a result of those objectives having been met.

    Part of the problem is that digitisation of NHS records has not gone well: paper records still abound. Fortunately mine are relatively slim for my age: some are enormous.

    Train delays? What has that got to do with HS2? Ensuring drivers are in the right place at the right time, modernising working practices across the rail network by discontinuing ancient Spanish practices and train drivers who earn more than junior doctors not striking would help quite a lot.

    My wife and I were walking on the pavement when a young bloke came towards us on his bike, mobile phone in hand. Didn’t slow down or make any attempt to avoid us, I wish I had had a stick to poke in his spokes.

    Didn’t the sale of gold reserves at an incredibly low price pay for some of that. Also, the tax raid on private pensions which is surely a tax on working people’s assets and caused the demise of the private defined benefit pension,
