Pubs Suggestions for game on 11th April

The area around CV6 isn't exactly blessed with great options, as NW suggests The Greyhound is excellent but a bit far out, the Bull is OK, especially if you fancy a cheap bite to eat. Personally I'd stay in town. They have just spent a few quid on the 'Phoenix' and The Whitefriars is just down...

    Alternative to a New Stadium

Or alternatively organise and manage some events/concerts/exhibitions having paid a nominal extra fee to the landlords for usage !? They won't though, they're compulsive incompetent liars who have moved the goalposts at every opportunity. As I said before though if 'Godiva' is correct and they...

Why Are We So Shit At Home?

It's that Leicester City curse I tell thee ! One of the construction workers allegedly stuffed his LCFC shirt and memorabilia into the pipes and the rest is history !!

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

That place could and should be a very decent attribute to CV1................sadly though like many pubs, it's owned by a huge pub company who basically want someone to work 100 hours a week in there to sell their drink brands and pay them huge and unrealistic rents !

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

Quite it's all a load of tosh. If 'Godiva' is right though and they are still being remunerated for screwing up a football club, they'll blag it out for as long as they can until they have to admit to their investors that they've blown their cash on a car crash of a football club.

    Rugby: Would you go?

Just another SISU smokescreen and people wonder why no one trusts these jokers. When they stop lying to everyone or just fuck off, revenue will increase again.

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

Went into Cov last night. Fancied checking out what £280,000 bought for you in the Phoenix. Couple of pints in there and then one in the Gosford Arms before a nice bit of Italiano at San Marcos. I managed to escape with my life and didn't find it all too traumatic !!

Guess the crowd for Orient .........

7475 ! Crowds won't pick up again significantly now this season and all the wins are coming away from home.

    Orient Match Thread

City win tonight but I doubt the match will be up to much. The main thing now though is accumulating enough points to forget the threats from relegation and start building for a more positive campaign next season.

Can't be many clubs actually making a profit outside of the Premiership !?

    big top at Ricoh

The canon is currently pointing over the North Warwickshire border { but not more than 8 miles from the City Centre }. Nuneaton and Bedworth yet again reiterate that they have had no contact with CCFC about a proposed landing site for Tim Fisher !

    When will Sisu go?

Based on what you say their income is minimal and hardly worth working for ? I certainly don't buy into the more people spend, the more will be spent on playing staff either ?! It's possible but not definite. I'm not part of any NOPM or any other protest or supporter organisation by the way...

    When will Sisu go?

You talk about their methodology and their hiding behind alternative finance laws in the Cayman Islands like it's all just fine and dandy. It's exactly the uncertainty that their devious practises invoke that is proving a huge turn off to many fans who would give more loyalty in return for more...

    When will Sisu go?

They will go when they have exhausted all legal avenues and when there isn't any benefit to them in creating tremendous admin/management charges and dumping them on the club.................or if some very rich people came along with a fat wad they'd like to throw at a bit of a folly !

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

I think that word 'Town' is a real problem for Cov, the City Centre has few venues and means protagonists and rivals are likely to keep bumping into each other, I think there is less trouble in big Cities !?

Back to the Bad old Days in Coventry

The difference is these days, the arseholes are very quick to pull weapons. Anyone caught carrying a knife should be sent down to a tough prison and made to work their bollocks off everyday doing something useful !

    Micheal Gynn

Every team needs at least one player who can run with the ball to unsettle the opposition. He was unlucky not to score in the Cup final !
