    Bloody Hell

Just shows that having the best individual players doesn't always make for the best team. Just how many times have Man City blown it or just not turned up? Leicester have put together a cohesive unit and that as a whole shows what a team with spirit, organisation and the right tactics can...

    Dads army

I loved Fawlty Towers. Pure brilliance for me. Didn't understand the appeal of Dad's Army though, other than from a nostalgic nod to the past. The German gathering of names episode was good, but past that it just seemed to be a series of OTT stereotyped characters and a sorry excuse to throw in...

Who watches American Football in the UK?

Yep, true. Both on BBC 2 and Sky Sports live.

Think we keep waiting for the 'collapse' and for them to be 'found out' but it just doesn't seem to happen. One bad defeat and they seem to bounce straight back again from it.

Yeah, wasn't totally sure, but I sort of gathered you might be. We all know you are a sensible lad, in spite of all your renowned negativity! ;)

Can I just add, I've never said Wigan's task is as tough as ours. They are on the good run, we are on the poor run. Just that if they are to get to 90 points, they still have big task ahead of them.

Nope. Just saying it is really tough for us to get to 84, but it is possible and that it is still a big ask for Wigan to get to 90, even though everyone seems to be tipping them and 90 points seems to often be the magic figure to get to. Didn't say Wigan couldn't do it, just that it is still a...

But it is no coincidence that Ramage has played 3 times for us. We lost all 3 games and shipped in 7 goals. Hopefully tomorrow Ramage will be out and the two new lads, in!

Yep! That was so disappointing against Burton after going a goal down and I didn't see much fight against Scunthorpe either, just rabbits caught in the headlights.

I am hoping it is lower. The lower it is the better chance we have. One good thing I can sense in our favour is that if we did make the play-offs I think the old wise heads such as Henderson, Cole, Ricketts and Hunt could really work in our favour. Think kids can freeze. These players have...

Belief? At what point do you think we lost ours?

We had the game won and took our foot off the gas. We were indeed woeful in that second half.

A lot of people now seem to saying Wigan to go up. They have 55 points. To reach 90 they would need 35 points from 16 games. That equates to 10 wins and 5 draws and 1 defeat. 11 wins and 2 draws and 3 defeats. 12 wins. Still a really big ask. Whoever would need to get to 90 points would...

Well I know, just saying it could be low this year. Burton have had a couple of blips and now Walsall lost badly today at home!. Only Wigan seem to be consistently picking up points at the moment and remember, we don't have to finish first, second will do just fine, so even if someone like Wigan...

I know. Just saying and it is based on us now having a drastic turn in our fortunes. IF we can get our season back on track there is a still a chance. If we don't of course we are going to be midtable at best.

    Bloody Hell

I hope Spurs do it. Play good football, have some good young England prospects in their team too. Would love them to break the stranglehold myself. Plus, if Spurs win it their fans are not going to come on here for weeks on end giving it the big un! If Leicester win it however ...... think...

    My Port Vale Preview

We were strong at home too though and even after Burton we still had only been beaten the once. Then Scunthorpe came along. Walsall had a really good run going and then suddenly lost 3-0 at home to Rochdale. Today, 3-0 against Millwall. Port Vale won't retain that brilliant home record all...

    A realistic view

I really enjoyed the season all the way through, even after Walsall, but the powderpuff way we gave up against Burton had me doubting and casting my mind back to previous years. Then the Scunthorpe defeat had me really worried and fearing the very worst in terms of a capitulation and possibly...
