It goes back to the same reason why SISU are still here. They have a valuation for the club and the players within that club and wont budge for anything less. If they were sold for lower then this thread would have been titled 'fucking SISU selling our young talent for pennies'.

yes indeed. Supposed to be more 'sturdy' but I would always worry about being caught out in the middle of nowhere and they fail on you. At least with clinchers you can do something about it.

I agree it wouldn't be a positive change particularly if you look at the volume of yellow cards in a typical game (maybe 5 ish?) that would be a big disruption and I just think that no team would want to take the 'hit' and pull out of tackles etc. I haven't got a clue how frequent yellows are...

I think from the recent Fisher interviews on radio it has proved that the fans are insignificant to SISU no matter who walks through the turnstiles. Its a shame that we have been talking about the same topic for the last 3 1/2 years and nothing has changed! We need to know SISU's breaking point...

I think it would depend on how long the player would be off the field. I think it would cut out unnecessary yellows i.e. mouthing off etc but I would be concerned it would take any tackles out of the game. I think as Rugby is already a physical game their yellows are for consistent high...
