I think it's a good choice. It's certainly got to be better than having Venus in charge, not that it could be much worse. He has vital experience of this level, which I think we're desperate for.

I can't see January offering any improvement. It's very possible Stevenson will be gone. There's a lot of work needs doing to the team, I'm just not sure how feasible it is. If we wait until January to appoint a new manager, it leaves virtually no time for them to identify targets anyway.

Sad to say, but like others reckon we could be on for a bit of a thumping. Think the loss is virtually nailed on. And you just know Fleck will have the game of his life. he's bound to score.

I fully agree. A player like that has an ideal record for this level. The fact he was available on a free would have been a bonus. But maybe we made an offer for him and he chose not to accept? Who can say, but certainly with a proven goalscorer of that caliber in our team we'd have been looking...

I can think of few better for this level. A signing like that I think we'd have been a lot healthier now.

At least it seems from reading this that it was a better performance. We really need someone up there who can put chances away more regularly than what we currently have though. We just don't take enough of the chances that we do create.

I'd hope we can get a safe mid table finish. I'm waiting to see what happens in January really though.
