Totally agree and while this player hasn't even pulled a shirt on for us yet, he clearly, clearly isn't good enough and not only is Robins totally clueless, but so too Bristol Rovers, who were also interested.
Both managers of both clubs should be immediately sacked.
I won't be disappointed to see JCH go to be honest. Want to like him and he looks like he should have much more in his locker than he has, but he has been a big letdown unfortunately.
The diving and falling over was also very embarrassing. Am struggling to think of a single ref who fell for it.
Nope, that's bollocks. Us fans know better than all the managers and even though none of us have seen him play, or have any idea how Robins plans to utlilise him, or know where exactly where he will fit in and play in the team, we should all write to the club now and urge this transfer to not go...
I know it's not everything, but apparently he was prolific at academy level, so should know where the net is.
Has Robins let us down before? I trust him. He's made an awful lot of better decisions than many of his predecessors with transfers.
Crazy to write this bloke off. If it's true we are...
That was only for that one incident though wasn't it?
From what I saw, when he did well he was applauded and when he made a mistake, criticised.
Only heard that one very audible groan and that was that pass back to the keeper.
After some investigating, I think it had to be Mellor. Hunt didn't come to us until March 1968, so it has to be either 69, 70, or 71, though Waiters was at Burnley at the same time as Mellor.
Before Mellor's time?
I had it in mind it was around 70-72 and Mellor was the goalkeeper then.
Mellor was 69-72 at Burnley and I do remember having to go up with my dad and not being allowed on my own in the late 60's and I definitely went on my own to the Burnley match when Ernie Hunt scored...
