Can I just say the speed this forum has moved from being completely wrong about all this for 400 pages to a whole new set of certainty is a real inspiration.
Unless Ashley buys the ground tomorrow. Then it’s abysmal. Seems like trying to be too clever when they could just announce a plan to buy it a month ago and have public support when it could actually do something.

At least he just came out and bought the club, which puts him ahead of the cavalcade of clowns that have been linked the last decade.

My only concern is normally when you buy a club you make some effort to talk about football. I get the timing, but still you’d expect a little PR for the fans if you were about to pump cash into the club.
Will judge him on Feb 1st.
