I'm a bit confused how they're letting Perez into the race. I always assumed if you didn't make it back to garage on the recon lap and the race starts, which it technically has because we have 43 laps and not 44, that was it and you were out. Then again, this is a highly unprecedented...

That's why they can't take any risks, especially this circuit. Otherwise you end up with the kind of situation they had here in 1998 with cars all ploughing into each other because they can't see or stop even if they can.

Have to say, Vettel once again being an awesome human being, stopping like he did to check on Lando after that smash. I was almost expecting him to be jumping out of his car in the same way Senna did for Eric Comas all those years ago. Luckily he didn't need to.
