Match Thread Coventry City vs Middlesbrough Play off Semi final 1st leg Match Thread -Sunday 14th May

That's the only thing that worries me about Middlesbrough. Although I think we stand a very good chance at getting through to the final they have definitely taken the foot off the gas in recent weeks - as shown by their performance in parts yesterday - and they've clearly rested players to avoid...

    TICKETS

Even if it included a basic drinks package as well as my usual three parking spots it's an acceptable deal. But yeah, to charge that without any extras within the package whatsoever is frankly abhorrent. I'd be surprised if they didn't sell out. Even if existing box holders opt out of their box...

    TICKETS

It's through my business so yeah I don't split with anyone. Difference is Wembley is Wembley. I wouldn't really grumble at that and the fact they offer 3 courses and beverages the package on the face of it doesn't actually sound all that unreasonable . When factoring in food, drinks, parking...

    TICKETS

Not really. A lot of clubs include cup games within their corporate box packages. In the context of what I pay per season, to demand another £1200 for one game without any incentive whatsoever is shocking.

    TICKETS

I've opted out of mine out of principle. I expected a significant hike but it's appalling by the club to increase it to that level. Not even parking included either. Terrible way to treat some of your highest paying customers.

    Assuming we don’t go up

I very much doubt he'll want to stay. Robins clearly has very little faith in him.

    Assuming we don’t go up

I'd imagine Rose will want to leave if he's not getting any game time.

    Assuming we don’t go up

I'd doubt we'd sign Panzo permanently. Forest would want somewhat of a return on the £1.5M they bought him for. Unless the deal was right I'd personally steer clear - especially given how many players are needed to be brought in and the level of cost that is likely going to come to.

    Assuming we don’t go up

Exits: - Moore - Dabo - Kane - Dacosta - BNC - Rose - Panzo - McNally - Doyle - JWE - Kelly - Hamer: on current form and due to his contract situation he'll almost certainly go if the latter doesn't change. - Hilssner (already gone but his wages will be available) - Walker - Waghorn - Gyokeres...

    Dave Boddy

Approaches have been made to the local corporates: i.e. Severn Trent, JLR, Aston Martin etc. None have been particularly bothered in the past and I'd imagine all the controversy around the club made the prospect of partnering with it even less appealing. I think a different approach is needed...

[POLL] How much would you be willing to pay for a ST next season?

I strongly suspect a new CEO will be brought into the fold in the summer. Boddy just isn't up to the task of managing the day to day of a Championship club and frankly he's SISU's man, not King's.

[POLL] How much would you be willing to pay for a ST next season?

I think it's more that Doug King is looking at getting the clubs price position more in line with the market. Which is fair enough. We're not a L1 club anymore and the new prices should rightly reflect the club's position accordingly.

    The dom hyam sale

Panzo is a strange one. He's certainly got talent but he just blows far too hot and cold. He really needs to find a club that will stick with him and give him time to succeed, something he hasn't ever had in his career - Robins frankly hasn't got the patience to be carrying him through the...

    Transfer Shouts

Good player, especially in the right system, but his wages will be huge.

    Transfer Shouts

Thought Otasowie would've hit the ground running already but he's currently struggling for game time at Club Brugge. Don't usually like buying into rumours but it seems as if he's got a sizeable attitude issue.

So what we saying for next week

Middlesbrough's home form is exceptional. It's their away form that has let them down, especially recently. Even on our current form we'd do well to beat them at the Riverside.

    Championship 22-23

Blackburn are poor away and Millwall are pretty solid at home. Sunderland are very good away and Preston are poor at home. Preston also have zero to play for. Despite their poor results recently Middlesbrough still have one of the best home forms in the division. I can't particularly see...

    Selfishly hoping we finish 6th

Our record against Luton is abysmal and they're the form team in the division. Certainly wouldn't want to be playing against them over two legs at all. Begrudgingly I'd rather Middlesbrough.
