    Boxing 2023

Watched the fight earlier. Not bad but Paul’s a limited fighter….as you would expect. Fact he can generate a few million per fight is crazy really. Agree with Bunce that further exposure is good for boxing, however, shit fighters getting paid millions while far more skilled, proper professionals...

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Sunderland Match Thread - Saturday 25th Feb

Great, hard fought win. Sunderland have got some very good individuals (Robert’s and Clarke out wide being two) so we should be really pleased with that. We looked really dangerous on the break and two quality goals . Fun atmosphere as well

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

They didn’t in the election v May ? By the next election people were that fucked off with Parliament pissing about on one issue for three years they just wanted it out the way Ps I think Corbyn himself was one of the main reasons in the most recent election

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

My point was that Tony started predicting what would happen with leaders of parties, future elections etc. nobody knows. I honestly didn’t think Cameron would walk immediately after result, nor that May would be next in line, or that parliament would grind to a halt, that ERG would continue to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Got the lottery numbers for tomorrow ? Let’s be honest nobody knows what would’ve happened. We’ve had two generational/lifetime incidents (covid and war) since the vote for starters. Actually when you look at what’s happened since 2008 you really couldn’t make it up

    Toilet roll 2.0?

Its not really that it makes it ok, it’s more a response to people who are suggesting the issue only relates to us when it’s obviously a wider issue across the continent, to varying degrees. The veg situation might be a bit of a pain in the arse for some but I haven’t had any real issues and the...

But they’ve been doing it for three years. Everything will be in place and there’s no checks yet as I say. If this was an U.K. export issue I’d agree as I think Ukraine have agreed to follow certain EU standards (like we should do) but this will be to do with the weather impacting produce...

That’s nonsense Tony. We’re not even checking EU produce until next year. Unless you’re suggesting the EU is trying to teach us another lesson. Hang on a sec…

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

To be fair if you’re 25+ points up in the pollls there’s probably no need to do anything too ground breaking which might lead to people picking policy apart. Opposition parties also don’t want to release specific policy this far out from an election. No real benefit at the moment. If Sunak...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

At the bottom…if you want 😊 We’re three years post proper brexit. It’s not happened since so can only presume the other issues are the primary drivers

Ive not said it’s had no impact, it might have had a minor impact but people latch onto this as the reason. Just pointing out the nonsense

Supply chains shouldn’t have changed. Next year maybe. The fact that it’s probably far easier to supply to nearby countries on mainland appears to be missed. ‘Policy adviser Ksenja Simovic said: "It doesn't help that the UK is out of the EU and single market, but I don't think this is the...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Oh I was talking about the great tomato shortage. Not defending the government at all. I think they’ve made an absolute shambles of stuff post brexit. My point is people trying to blame everything on Brexit is a bit weird

Come on Clint. I know everything’s brexits fault but not this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-64718826.amp There’s plenty of genuine issues/challenges without people making bollocks up. There’s been this constant drip drip of misinformation still, not sure why ardent remainers feel it’s...
