Where has all the money gone???

Not saying it doesn't happen at very high level but at the level we are playing at very few and far between. HMRC have done loads of work to close this loophole down.

Where has all the money gone???

That's not correct... They are contracted by a single company for the significant majority of their work so are forced to be registered as employees. Different to golfers or tennis players that are effectively freelance and 'work' at different events. Money earned through image rights...

Why would they leave? The club pretty much pays for itself, bar them probably fronting up some money now and again for cash flow purposes which they get back. In the unlikely event that we could fluke our way to the Prem, then a massive windfall awaits.

Where has all the money gone???

I think Mowbray has been holding out on the hope that he will get better value for his money waiting till last minute. Whether this happens or not remains to be seen...

Funding stream like ticket income goes to CCFC. SISU don't have this money. SISU are owners of CCFC overall. A bit like having a parent company of a brand. The brand takes the income it produces.

I never said it was to improve - the current attendances would suggest the income keeps the club afloat. Increased income from attendance would have a positive impact on TM's budget for players. It won't be going to SISU.

It's funding CCFC not SISU... What part of that don't you get?

No they are taking CCC to court for JR2 - Wasps are an interested party.

We have no idea if JR2 has legs - only really surmising. Even if it did the impact on Wasps is null. They still have the stadium on a 248 year lease. The impact would be on CCC maybe having to compensate - but again nothing on Wasps. That's why it doesn't stack up. Their stance is a conscious...

Where has all the money gone???

50k doesn't even pay a year contract for a player at 1K a week. What kind of player do you get at that price? Something that probably doesn't get mentioned is the fact that pay costs aren't just player wage... It's pension contribution, NI contribution both have which have increased a lot...

    Next Sisu Out Protest?

Well seeing as the previous deal was £1.3m from the same company - does suggesting they might hike up to around £1m seem such a mad suggestion? An independent third party is a good idea, but we've been here before and ACL weren't having any of it. JR1 is dead and buried - carrying it on is...

So let's say SISU drop the legals today and tomorrow go to table to negotiate. If Wasps turn round and say the new deal is £1m a year take it or leave it - then where does the club go? Or will people still say Wasps are innocent? If they are that keen on a deal - get one agreed in principle...

Where has all the money gone???

Firstly Wilson was sold 2+ years ago.. In the interim we have players wages to pay (including those over the close season), academy to pay for, insurances, day to day running costs as well as no doubt severance packages for Pressley and team. Yes we've received money but it's plainly clear we...
