Do you want to discuss boring politics?

No, I said we need a government to sort the country out and I acknowledge Its more likely to be a Labour government. Who other than Starmer? I honestly don't know.

Affordability doesn't come into it with the railways though. And can we afford to carry on with the railways as they are at the moment? Totally unreliable and hugely expensive. Yes, renationalising energy could be expensive, but this is my point, we need to be radical. Renationalising in France...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

We don't desperately need a Labour government. We desperately need a government who can sort out the absolute shambles this country has become. Now, yes, it's far more likely that such a government would be a Labour government, but I honestly have no faith in Starmer.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I don't know what his motivations are, I haven't said he's made agreements with the right wing media. I've just pointed out he's reneged on several things he had previously committed to, thats a fact, though some people disagree with me referring to them as lies. And no one offered a logical...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You're missing the point spectacularly Pete. Why would you flip flop on nationalising rail or energy? The railways are far worse than when the pledge was made. We've got an energy crisis since the pledge was made, people are in fuel poverty, we pay an eye watering amount more for our energy...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It's not about being 'not left enough'. I've just listed some of the problems facing this country which I think are pretty unprecedented. I think the only way to sort them is through politicians being bold, radical and committed to doing their best for the majority of UK citizens not just a...

That's a totally different position from being head of one of the two main parties and hugely different from being PM.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

We have a cost of living crisis. We're the only G7 country whose economy has not returned to prepandemic level. We have health, education and transport systems in crisis. Inequality is going through the roof. There's been an assault on people's freedoms and their right to protest and withdraw...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

An accusation of dishonesty aimed at Truss would be very misguided. She had such unwavering belief in her policies she held nothing back, one economic melt down later and she's still banging the same drum and playing the poor me card.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Why would you change on, for example, renationalising the railways? Have they got better or have they got considerably worse? The dishonesty was saying he was going to do it in the first place.

Same traits. And the higher he goes the worse it will get. I'll happily come on here and admit I'm wrong if it doesn't.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You might not agree but it's hardly unhinged. You do realise that some of the things I'm calling him out for he admits to reneging on so he agrees with me. Only he doesn't describe it as lying, I think change of circumstances is one of his favourite excuses.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Trust me, and I realise you're probably not referring to me, but my opinions on Starmer aren't cultivated by the right wing press!

You dont think Johnson is dishonest? You've surprised me.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

He's not had the opportunity yet, let's see what happens. For the record, I hope I'm wrong, this country is badly broken and needs fixing after over a decade of austerity and wealth transfer, I just dont think Starmer is the man to do it. Its so badly broken I don't think a shift to the centre...
