Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I 100% agree with your first paragraph. But costs can't be far off quadruple what they were originally and with stage 2 or whatever it was called cancelled its not going to deliver huge chunks of what it was supposed to, is it right to just carry on because we need more infrastructure spend?

The problem is when it's watered down to the extent it doesn't achieve much of what it's supposed to is the huge overspend worth it?

Yeah, I appreciate Shmmeee is commenting on the value of the project rather than its delivery but its going to be over budget by an eye watering amount, that much is clear.

It was clear to see what we were trying to do yesterday. Yes, more often than not it never quire came off but it will. As Robins said post match, we've had over change the way we play and they'll keep working on it on the training ground.

The day north western took over they reduced the number of carriages they put on. Avanti relied on the good will of drivers doing overtime to keep their trains running and had to cancel trains left right and centre when that goodwill was withdrawn. There's easy fixes to some of the issues out...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

There's been numerous less expensive alternatives proposed from more flexible ticketing to repurposing existing but unused stretches of track. I don't know how successful implementing these ideas would be but I pretty much guarantee HS2 will be an expensive failure. It's already been pared...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

We have a rail system that, like alotofthings in this country, is absolutely broken. How about we fix that first? This project is already massively over budget and behind, (I appreciate thats not what your point is about), but we really aren't in a position to be pouring money away.

The money could be far better spent. A complete waste, but the politicians seem to love it.

I'd agree. Probably the best headline set I've seen at a festival, onthe main stage at least. Saw them a few times and they've always delivered. Saw them at the NEC years ago, been to watch us play villa in the day, we got spanked and I nearly got arrested for getting into an altercation with...

    Ben Sheaf

Still fades in games for me needs to take them by the scruff of the neck more. Stand out for me was first half against Fulham away, champions elect and their midfield couldn't get near him and hamer for 45 minutes.

He's hardly played any football. In his last regular run of games he got 7 in 17 in this league, he'll be fine along as we give him the ammo.

I know this isnt true because they headed straight to Dartmoor after the game for an evening of extreme paintballing. Hearing two acls and an achilles gone already and the night goggles arent even out yet.
