Jokes are always fine. Making a joke about horrible shit is a legitimate way to process and offence is entirely subjective. Being a c**t to another person about something that’s happened to them is something else.
I don’t see it the same as the Bradley thing TBH. It’s a publicly known horrific incident and we joke about those all the time. If I’ve missed something that links this locally and means it was targeted like the Bradley image then my mistake.
Robins for a start “we’ve brought in better players” “we have the quality now”. Yet for some reason asking to play this team we’ve spent £20m+ on is sacrilegious
I didn’t say they were league one players, I said the squad needs to progress past League One. As in we still have half our first team we had in L1 (in some cases players who couldn’t get a game in L1) and we’ve spent £20m.
What? Who is mocking their deaths?
Can we not make Josef Fritzel or Harold Shipmena jokes? What’s the rule here?
Edit: wait, is there a football link here?
Not in the Kelly sense of an old school holding midfielder who tackles and plays it five yards you can’t. You need players with the vision and range of Sheaf and Hamer in there.
He was so effective cos of his movement at AM, not sure if he’d do as well at CM. I thought second half we started to see a bit more of what Eccles can do progressively. The guy was top scorer for the U23s, he must have more in his locker.
Edit: that said, obviously I’d be looking to replace...
