Fair play or stop being a tit?

Makes Klopp’s statements about player welfare look a bit irrelevant.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Thought it was very good - but would echo what Faz said too - you could do with watching Far from Home as a minimum - if you watched Homecoming and the last 2 Avengers Films it would give you more understanding as a whole but not essential.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I totally agree with your second paragraph - the intent to rattle through things so quickly is so frustrating (something I see at my daughters school too who teach a topic in 3 lessons I would spend 2 weeks on) some schools have an obsession to teach the whole curriculum in a year at breakneck...

Whilst you may have a point in some regards, surely Maths personifies the very ‘problem solving/critical thinking’ that is absent? Ask yourself why there is time dedicated to the Quadratic Formula over basic finance as you put it? Because the people responsible for directing the curriculum at a...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Very few maths specialists in Primary over the years, have contributed to an array of different methods to solve problems. Whilst it may have some good aspects, they rarely become fluent in any method. Something also missed is that it also relies on literacy and comprehension relative to Maths...

Not for the reasons you think though. Critical thinking is hugely important, but there is not time for it in the ‘curriculum’ which is largely ticking boxes to satisfy consultants/OFSTED/Trustees.

Stand up if you hate Boris, no sit down if you voted for him… like the shittest game of Guess Who ever.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You say it’s desperate, but then that’s been ‘released’ by someone in the Tory party inner circle. They were hoping for outrage otherwise it wouldn’t have surfaced.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

And that’s what adds to the absurdity of it all. Imagine trying to justify things like this when you were banning people from comforting dying relatives.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I’m not particularly bothered about this instance to be fair as a single thing. But then I can also appreciate that if I was someone who had a family member die alone at this time I’d be fucking apoplectic. It still smacks of them being above their own rules too.
