Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

There were people concerned about this at the time, understandably. We've had fitness coaches in charge before and here was a chief scout being given the reins. I'd be surprised if anyone wasn't sceptical.

    Internationals

Murphy's got some Ireland caps I think. Most of our remaining players are now English who don't really see international representation from the Football League outside of the bewildering Dave Nugent call-up (100% goals to games ratio at international level, and yet people wonder how Rooney can...

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

There aren't many people in the Thorn out camp yet, are there? I'm more wondering how long he can go on in the same form rather than lighting the pitchforks myself.

    most worrying statistic

Although in fairness, I'd take not finishing in the top six of the top two divisions in that time over a top six finish in the third or fourth divisions all day long.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

I don't see where this theory comes from. Andy Thorn is a converted scout with a few months' experience, it seems odd to say that he's doing as well as any other experienced coach could.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

I like Thorn and he's fighting on harsh terms, but managers can't be completely blameless when leads are lost and points dropped.

I can only think of one more pun but I'm keeping it to myself. No Peking.

Whats' the buzz, Brinner, tell us whats' happening

I wanted to move into the world of puns but I was told it was a bad Korea choice.

Whats' the buzz, Brinner, tell us whats' happening

Bit of a cheat to have three guys as Hong Kong's second most wealthy person isn't it? Unless they're midgets and all three make one real person, in which case I'd like to apologise to the Kwoks and their dad Bert.

    McSheffery

I nutmegged him one time playing on a school pitch around '96. The last good thing I ever did.

    Best price for MW3??

Just remembered that MW2 was £50, that was ridiculous. At least the price is a more sensible £40ish now. Not bothering with it this time personally though, the fantastically movie-style campaign mode sounds fun but that's only about 10% of the value of the entire game as it's more aimed at...

    Who would you apply?

Someone who's actually managed a professional football team for more than a half-hour would be my first criteria.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

Thorn has the public on his side because he's portrayed as also fighting against SISU, whether it be lack of funds for loans, no replacements for exiting players, etc. I don't buy for a second that no other manager would do better, as there's little to base this on considering our current...

    indian Ivestment!?!

I might mock Cov Mad and its terrible coverage, but if the Sultan of Brunei knocks on my door later asking if he knows where to stash his billions I'll feel duty bound to never doubt another word the site says. Joe Cole on loan, let's go.
