    It’s a shame it’s ended this way…

If we want to go up then all these awful records (PNE, Norwich, WBA) need to go out the window...

That's because IF we lose, that would be the PERFECT recipe for a toxic fanbase, particularly Cov. Build us up, getting so so so close and then let us down in the most cruel way.

    Championship thread 25/26!

There will be twists and turns, my worry if that won't be us twisting and turning. It'll be more Millwall and Hull coming up along with Ipswich. Boro could easily go on a run and get 1 win in 6 or similar and then one of others go and get 5 wins out of 6. We basically need to end the season with...

    It’s a shame it’s ended this way…

I think just like our goal difference, I'm sure that 50% is very quickly disappearing in the rear view mirror

    It’s a shame it’s ended this way…

I wouldn't worry about that, when was the last time we scored from a set piece?

    It’s a shame it’s ended this way…

I would argue that if you're thinking that Onyeka is the catalyst, then so could Esse, BTA, or Wright actually going on a run of form. It's never about one player, however I do think he could lead by example, in training and then in games and in that sense could act as a catalyst to get us out...

That is 6 on the bounce for Boro but they won't win every week. However I keep saying it, they are long overdue a win against us. I'll commit to this, if we do win AND PLAY WELL, then I will put on a positive hat between now and the end of the season. If we continue as we have been and we...

    Doug

If we don't go up then Lampard will leave and if he doesn't, he should. It would leave his managerial career is absolute tatters and it would be so Cov and so Lampard if that happens.

    Doug

Doug will live by the sword on this one... If we don't go up (I have said for weeks we won't) then I genuinely worry for next season and what that means.

What was the sliding doors moment of the season

The irony is Southampton away was the moment where we were all shown the "character and togetherness" of the squad. Yet the real sliding doors moment was the red card and us not winning that game, not the 1 point we got from it.

    Clean Sheet

Oxford are awful. Lati and Woolfenden had nothing to do and what they did do was ponderous and slow. I actually want Woolfenden to come good, simply because it seems like we have paid silly money for him and I'm fearing it was an absolute waste. A clean sheet in a game like that is "meh"...

    Transfer Rumour Romain Esse

Has a genuine creative spark, can see a pass but the constant messing around with it is ridiculous. Luxury player at the moment.

I wonder what message this sends out to Lati and Wolf?

    Transfer Rumour Frank Onyeka

31 games for Augsburg in the Bundesliga last season and a solid AFCON since he played any real football for Brentford.

Match Thread Coventry City - Oxford United Match Thread - Saturday 7th Feb

I’m still angry about the fall off, mostly because I just knew it would happen. For me it’s more because I grew up with Premier League Coventry City and I just want us back there so badly. I said weeks ago I’d never enjoy being top, because when it doesn't happen it'll be horrendous. It's not...

    25/26 January Transfer Window

Boro won't sell and I'd imagine Hackney would be happy to stay and get them up, he's a local lad and with the greatest of respect, it's only Forest. If it were a bigger club then maybe...

    25/26 January Transfer Window

What I will say about Kone is that he can hold it up and look after the ball. Simms is ok at cushioning a header or laying it off, other than that he's poor with back to goal. Wright is not great with back to goal at all.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

Onyeka and a proper top quality left back would be a great window.

Match Thread Queens Park Rangers - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 31st Jan

All of this is on our manager. No away win since Nov, no chance of a clean sheet and no solutions to teams who have worked us out. Yet we think we can go up? Only Cov could do this to us.

Video PRESS CONFERENCE | Frank Lampard and Josh Eccles look ahead to Queens Park Rangers. 🎙️

As always, poor questions but can’t say I see it as Frank does. “If you call it a difficult time beating Leicester, Millwall and then losing to Norwich” Come on Frank… been playing poor for a while and have 4 wins in 12…. That and the lack of dealing with the counter is what I’d like you to...
