You telling me he has one of these, but with a photocopied pic of Tony Mowbray glued on? Hopefully if he's glued it on he's glued it on to the face and not elsewhere.

    Ashes 17/18 Thread

Ticking along very, very nicely and now sit at 105-1. What we need to make sure we do now is if we lose a wicket it is just the one immediate wicket and not a spate as has been England downfall on many an occasion. Have to say the press ramping up and some of the Aussie player comments are...

    Expectations?

Well the objective is obviously promotion. That was our aim pre-season, so you have to assume that the club and Mark Robins believe we haven't met expectation yet. Looking at some the games we lost, we clearly shouldn't have lost them. Horrendous goalkeeping errors have gifted the opposition...

    Dementia

Yeah, I think we all get them, but some things I do think find more worrying. I am mad on American Football. Absolutely love it and this last Superbowl was considered one of the best ever and the biggest turnaround ever and it was also my second favourite team playing, the New England Patriots...

No. My mum and dad live your way, Potters Green. They are lovely, but so set in their ways and refuse all help.

    Dementia

Worst thing is my dad is old generation and he can't cook, clean, wash, iron etc. Totally dependent on my mum, but he refuses help and I know he would point blank refuse to live with us if anything ever happened to my mum. Think if my mum goes my dad will shortly follow. :(

    Dementia

Yep, a good age, but to see that sudden change is so upsetting still. She can get stuck on a word for 20 seconds and you can see the frustration in her face. Just in the last 4 weeks she has put teabags in the kettle and cooked poached eggs without putting water in the pan, so completely burnt...

    Ashes 17/18 Thread

Good luck finding it somewhere, weeman. Competition is usually healthy, but with this sort of thing it is really annoying. Luckily for me I have Virgin, so get BT too, but then I lose out on Sky Atlantic, which Virgin don't have and so I now have to have NowTV just to get Sky Atlantic in...

    Dementia

Well done, weeman. It's worrying for me, because I have noticed myself now forgetting lots of stuff and also getting completely stuck on words. Might just be because of my mum I am suddenly analysing things a lot more though.

    Expectations?

Well yep, exactly. With the fantastic defence we have (and it clearly is, you only have to look at the goals against column) you have to scratch your head and wonder how we have lost 6 games already.

    Expectations?

That's the annoying part. If you are well beaten you sometimes just have to put up your hands and admit you were second best, but to lose games to absolute goalkeeping howlers is just so irritating. Here we are 6 points behind the automatic places and there's at least 4 points thrown away right...

    Dementia

Tis worrying. Convinced now that my mum has dementia, though we haven't had it officially confirmed. She is 87 and her memory deterioration in just a few months is absolutely staggering. 4 or 5 months ago she was quite normal. We suddenly noticed her stumbling and getting stuck though, so I...

    Expectations?

Unfortunately the playoffs are a lottery. We have to aim for top 3 and only be happy with promotion. That of course only being guaranteed if we secure a top 3 place. This is Coventry City and we are known for our banana skin slip ups and not turning up in some big games. I would be very worried...

    Expectations?

Fallen short for me. Quite happy in many ways, but no way would I have believed that we would have lost a third of our games after 19 matches in. I've said before, if we want automatic promotion the most games we can afford to lose is around 12. We have lost half of that and it's still not...
