Why is it odd? We’ve done it for left wingers too and arguably strikers.

But if it has no tangible impact on the pitch and seems to actually be confusing the players what’s the point? You’ve have an argument if we’d got better but not after we’ve got worse. Clearly the new staff are having a negative impact.

Are we though? Or is that just what the PowerPoint says? Seems like when you’ve got companies like Google which have stupid pointless jobs and perks and can afford it because they’re minted. But there’s no actual benefit for a company without infinite money.

It does matter. All out attacks start from the CBs. That curled ball down the line is vital.
