    Throwing the season away

We haven't, but we we have been on an neverending spiral decline now for nigh on 20 years and we all know if we don't get out of this division quickly we will be getting out of this division, but in the opposite direction. Crowds will go down next season. Undoubtedly. It will be a lot tougher...

    Throwing the season away

Exactly. Where is the stability in a massive rebuild every year?

    Throwing the season away

Exactly. People need to get a reality check of that. Portsmouth: Promotion from Championship 2003 FA Cup winners 2008 FA Cup runners up 2010 Playing in the UEFA League 2008-9 Coventry City FA Cup 1987. Nowt since.

It very clearly was though. Abundantly clear that Mowbray wasn't going to turn it around and he even said so himself. He said he couldn't turn it round.

    Throwing the season away

Top half but no playoffs is not a good sesson. Robins said the aim was promotion and we were third favourite with the bookies for promotion and considering we are 31 matches in and hardly been out of the top 7 all campaign so far, I would say top half would be deemed as a total failure.

I was right though. I said the play offs were out of the question and it proved to be the case. The slide season was an accident waiting to happen unfortunately.

I think he can though. Certainly for Bayliss who just didn't look the same player was very very sluggish and under par. McNulty too. That's two of our best players right there. Doesn't excuse everything by a long chalk, but does excuse a couple of players at least.

    Throwing the season away

Famous last words from that League One Mowbray season. We're top, hoorah! We're 3rd, still good. We're 4th. We're still in the playoffs. We're 5th, but still only 3 points off the top 2. We're still 5th and still only 5 points off the top 2. We're 6th. We're still in the playoffs. We're...

McNulty and Bayliss still suffering with the virus. Would make sense. Bayliss looked way off the pace.

If Grimmer was fit I honestly think DKE wouldn't be seen in a City first team shirt again.

I am so glad I am off to watch my daughter in a show tonight. Going to be toxic on here. Thing was today, Accrington weren't even that good. They didn't have to be. They just did what they needed to do and we were very clearly second best. Their keeper had a very easy afternoon. Fair play to...

What a poor game and abject effort. Have fingers heavily crossed that MR is going to come on and say that a lot of the players out there today were suffering still with the virus. I did notice we had a breakaway in the second half, with Shipley bringing the ball away just outside our own box...

Very, very disappointing. Bayliss off his game, JMD offering nothing and DKE deliberately targeted by Accrington. Not sure how much we can change. Hyam on, DKE off? JMD off and Reid on? Very poor.

If he's got a stomach bug that might well result in an injured arse, so both injured and ill are an interchangeable scenario.

As long as everyone out there is 100% and not suffering, 4-1 to us. We haven't hammered anyone all season (maybe Luton away) and we are due one. Bayliss and Kelly to shine and JMD to dazzle on the wing. Sparky x 2, a Bayliss scorcher and Reid to come on late and bag the other, before him then...
