    Player Ratings via QPR

First half QPR excellent in possession without creating too much, but we grew into it and got a foot hold. The goal before half time felt crucial. Only concerns for me are that we lack a bit of pace and physicality up top. O’Hare and Godden were excellent and Allen did well second half so no...

    Take the knee

Everything you’ve written down in this thread. Are you surprised that people are challenging you drawing comparisons with BLM and the KKK I’ve not once called you a racist either, but you’ve accused me of it twice. Weird.

    Take the knee

Hope they’ve not got you doing anything too complex at the hospital? I’m not the guy you think I am, I’m just normal. You’re the person on the fringe with these views.

    Take the knee

Don’t worry about me, I’m not the person comparing BLM, specifically taking the knee, to the KKK. I called you ignorant as well you thick chimp.

    Take the knee

The media blah blah blah. I bet you think Covid is a hoax as well.

    Take the knee

    Stupid doesn’t even come close.

    Take the knee

This is bullshit, you’ve read and listened to too much right wing crack-pot rhetoric. To compare taking the knee to the KKK raising their fist for white power is offensive and ignorant.

    Ex Player Watch

Lol, a bit rich mate, you’re bashing Murphy and Kent but praising O’Brien 🤣 Nothing to debate on Kent either. He has gone on to have an excellent few years since on loan here and is going to fetch £10m+ in the transfer market.

    Ex Player Watch

Could tell he was going to be a great player when he was here. £10 million easily the going rate for a player like that now

    Power and Pace

I’m not suggesting that we revert our approach to having lumps. We have a way of playing football, and we should stick to it, however there’s a risk of being bullied by average teams if we don’t have a centre half that can win a header against Kieffer Moore, or a striker that can hold up the...

    Power and Pace

The issue we'll have in the champ is that there's a lot of good sides who'll keep the ball better than us and therefore be hard to beat. Then we'll play Millwall, Cardiff where we might have more of the ball, but end up losing 2-0 because they're physically dominant

    Pressley

Aligns with what another poster put on here, they flagged a post from 2014 which outlined we were working with the university, evidently something we've considered before

    Realistic Expectations next season

I’m not sure that was the case, I think we had a top 8 budget, and we actually spent significantly vs. much of the division in other areas, e.g. second highest agent fees. Appreciate our net spend was low as we brought in significant transfer fees.

    Realistic Expectations next season

If you’re allowed to say whatever comes into your head, I’m allowed to say that it’s nonsense. There are teams who are objectively speaking, position for position stronger than we are, and they won’t make the play offs. I’m not trying to be negative and I’m optimistic players can step up and...

    Realistic Expectations next season

Nonsense, wage budget to league position is a proven positive correlation Money spent on transfers not so much, that is an inconsistent market Unless a number of our players prove to be good championship players (which I think can happen), we're going to struggle. The ambition has to be to...

    Realistic signings

Tough one on a striker. If they're proven it'll cost upwards of £10m (pre-covid, anyway), so realistically we've got to take a bit of a punt. Like the idea of a PL loan, like this guy from Wolves. They can then push Godden who should be our starting striker. Confidence is everything for a...

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

He wasn't the third name on the team sheet, but for me he was one of 4-5 from last season's starting line up that I expect to do well in the championship, which is why the signing is key. Also by the end he wasn't in rotation at all, he started the last 4-5 games and all the big ones at that!

    Wednesday rumours

As much as signing anyone from outside the division is a gamble. I'd say less so given we've had him for a year and know he's a good player. Top earner, meh, who else is it going to be. Salary all about leverage, and he had plenty.

    Wednesday rumours

No problem with him being the top earner, we're not paying anything for him. Always going to command a good salary if he's out of contract. People saying he wasn't a definite starter, however by the end of the season he definitely was. Be a great signing, and I can't understand why anyone...
