That's not the best arguement to make in court is it??? If that's the best their squad of legal types could come up with Fisher should be a touch worried!

Both sides have had to lay out the basis of their arguement over the last few hours. If you had something that was going to blow the whole case out of the water you'd mention it as early as possible so you could get it all over and done with.

Then they probably shouldn't have mentioned that before now!

That would be the worst possible for scenario and in my opinion the best result for a quick return to the Ricoh. If the judge turns round and basically tells them to get stuffed and stop wasting everyones time they might think twice about how the JR will go.

CT asked both universities in March and both said they hadn't had talks with SISU. Of course they could by lying but if there were talks going on wouldn't a no comment be a better response than an outright lie?

Sure the judge will want to check that. I can see how you could rack up £29K in legal fees etc on this sort of thing but a breakdown of the £290K could be interesting reading. What odds on a large chunk of it being one part of SISU charging another part or payment for Fishers time?

Of course but from what is known at the moment, and of course more will come out in court, a HOT was agreed and then nobody heard from SISU to complete. SISU have said this is because another deal went on behind their back but if that didn't happen until after SISU had walked away I would think...

That could be a key point couldn't it? If SISU had a set timeframe to get things done and that had expired they can't really complain that another deal was done. Is this a back and forth or are we getting Higgs side first and then SISU?

Even if there was a chance they could the best route SISU could have taken would have been to identify a site in the city and force the council to make a decision. Of course a reason not too do that would be if you had no intention of building a stadium anywhere and needed to make out like...

That's not new information. SISU have chosen to counter sue Higgs for 10 times the amount rather than just demand the case. Exactly as first assumed.

Essentially it is setup in such a way (and with some companies involved never filing accounts or being overseas) that its tricky for anyone to be 100% certain but best guess is that SISU in their various forms have put in up to £40m, the larger £70m came up when the old debt from prior to SISUs...

So it's confirmed then that Megan Fox is taking over the club - excellent news. Probably knows more about football than anyone on the board at the moment.
