    Who owns Coventry City?

In practical terms SISU are the owners. It's not their money in all probability but if you have a pension you don't go around saying you own the companies your pension is invested into. At most if your investment is underperforming you move it out of that fund.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Yes, not sure public enquiry is the right term but some sort of investigation into the council's actions. For me there is enough known to cast doubt on how some decisions were arrived at so I think it is in everyone's best interests to get everything out in the open. I don't think we're...

I don't recall the police saying stands had to be open. They close them for JPT games so why couldn't they do it for other games?

    Land search

Fisher has said 60 acres but I think that includes moving from Ryton and / or Higgs plus non-stadium development (shops etc). The actual stadium part of the Ricoh is approx 8 acres so add a bit on to allow for infrastructure and I guess 10 - 15 acres would be the minimum.

    Tv Deal

The quick answer to that would be ITV Digital. Sky will need to create more revenue as they have paid more. There's not going to be a sudden surge in subscribers so ad revenue won't increase so how are they going to get their money back? It will be an increase in the cost to the viewer. At some...

    Tv Deal

The PL is already like 2 divisions, the top teams who have a chance of winning something and everyone else making up the numbers. Increasingly we're going to see the same teams getting promoted and relegated due to the size of the parachute payments. The promised land of the PL is only the...

They wanted to close some of the stands when we came back and people kicked off about not being able to site where they wanted to.

    Scunthorpe Match Thread

Pretty much sums it up, Robbins furious with his side for not winning, Pressley ecstatic with his for managing a draw.

They will definitely know what the actual attendance is, if they're going to let anyone know is another matter. Try tweeting WMP CCFC account.

Positives from Scunthorpe (this will be a very short thread )

How did they manage to run out of anything when there was only about 3 people there?

    Post Match Interview

This should be the quiz on the Friday night phone in. Play one of SP's post match interviews and you have to guess what the score was.

    Pressley out

Someone else needs to come in soon. They need to do something or we'll be in League 2 and I have no confidence we'll do any better in that.

Pressley assumes we are all stupid....

There's been a few opposition managers who have said similar, as well as many of the ex-pros on CWR. It's just a polite way of saying SP doesn't know what he's doing and can't get anywhere near the best out of the team. You only have to look at what happens to players when they move elsewhere to...

    "A Great Performance"

Yep, a draw at home to a team right at the bottom end of the league. What more could you ask for. Clearly the problem is our expectations are too high and leading us to not appreciate the fantastic football we are playing every week.

    Scunthorpe Match Thread

I was having a decent night out until I thought I'd check to see how we were doing. It's going to take four other teams being awful for us to stay up.

    Scunthorpe Match Thread

I used to go watch the reserves late 80s early 90s and there would be more there for those games than the pics on this thread indicate are there tonight. Very sad.

No idea if the £4m is right but that's the theory of it I think. I suppose any debate would be around the chance of Higgs ever having got the loans that were rolled into the sale paid off had they not taken the route they did. Obvioulsy now impossible to know that. Think the £6.5m was a minimum...

If you have any feelings towards Coventry City football club

Aren't they only allowed to do reduced admission for a certain number of games? Sure I read that somewhere, could be wrong.

    BBC Midlands Today

There's a post from OSB somewhere but from memory a good chunk of the £6.5m was writing off loans that had already been given to the club that were unlikley to ever be repaid due to the clubs financial difficulties. So although you could say Higgs paid £6.5m the actual amount given to the club...

Why Did The Council Sell To Wasps?

Good point, what he really should have done is put 'FACT' at the end, wouldn't be able to argue with him then!
