    Blatter

Its a joke. We're at the point now where they barely bother to deny the corruption or try and hide it!

Wasps want to play on Saturdays...

There may or may not be a clause regarding primacy in the short term agreement. If there's not it wouldn't be a huge surprise as we weren't expecting a rugby club from London to suddenly appear. CCC made assurances about this so you would think they ensured it was agreed with Wasps although from...

This one used to be a favourite of mine. A sign of the potential of the club. Now its bloody depressing.

Wasps want to play on Saturdays...

It would be common sense however how often do regulatory authorities in charge of sport exhibit any common sense? We know that the rugby premiership is prepared to schedule around the PL and FL. We know this as it is a requirement of the PL and FL for clubs to have primacy so its the only way...

Before we get any further are you a council lover, SISU lover or Wasps lover?

    Parking charge

Ultimately they will need to take you to court for non-payment of the 'contract'. There's no guarantee they will win so highly unlikely they will take it that far.

Wasps want to play on Saturdays...

I didn't go to Sixfields as I felt going would endorse the move however it is crazy to suggest it was ever going to be a permanent move. It was temporary if there was a new stadium and temporary if there wasn't. If they were going to franchise the team its not going to be to Northampton is it?!?

    Bournemouth Ground Share

Just done a quick google and it seems its because the media suite isn't 'premier league standard'. a) that is a ridiculous reason to not be able to play at home, its not like Sky are going to have them on more than a handful of times b) surely they can get this resolved in the close season...

Wasps want to play on Saturdays...

No surprise really how fast Wasps have gone back on their word. When they arrived they said they would be playing on Sundays so as not to impact on CRFC. Now it's 'minimise' the impact of CRFC whatever the hell that means. Probably means CRFC have to move their games if they clash. Of course...

What does it fail on? Seems strange for a relatively new ground, haven't had any problems when I've been there.

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

What you talking about, all we need to do is open up a used car lot and shift a few dodgy motors and we'll be playing Barcelona in no time :D

They could change their kit and be called Wasps Reserves

Wouldn't have thought so. They'll want them in for as long as possible before and after the match spending money.

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Another Wasps piece up on the CT now. They're looking to play on games on Saturdays having previously said they wouldn't do that so as not to impact CRFC. Now they just want to 'minimize impact' on CRFC whatever that means.

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

The £2m was the offer for Higgs share from memory. That wouldn't have been unencumbered, how would that have worked? If you buy 50% of a company that's exactly what you buy. It was much further down the line when they started banging on about unencumbered wasn't it?

    The Bradford Fire

I can imagine someone burning a factory or something down for insurance but a football stand during a match? Surely if he wanted it burnt down a mysterious fire during the close season would have done the trick.

    why the mobile phone lights

I can see why at games where there's floodlight failure, such as the cup game at the Emirates, but not just in a regular game. The phone light seems to have replaced lighters being held up at gigs these days.
