I guess the squad in nominal terms is maybe the right size it's just that the number of players we have to the standard we really want is a lower % of that number than it needs to be

Sounds a bit delusional really, with the best will in the world medical staff do not prevent injury. We didn't even have a particularly bad season injuries wise and still struggled a bit, if he can't see that it's quite worrying.
I think so, it's a horrendous reflection on the competitiveness of the league. The target was 40 points back in our day. We got relegated on 34 and think we were 8 points adrift at the end.
