    Can we compete

They leave Boddy and Robins to get on with the running of the club and keep Fisher away from a camera or a microphone. Apart from that I don't see that anything is different. Success on the field doesn't excuse the way that they have run the club.

    Liam Kelly

Neve hides, is always there to take the ball in difficult situations. If we do go up I think he is one of the players who could make the transition.

    Can we compete

It isn't Sisu's reluctance to splash millions on the team that brings them criticism. It is the way that they have cynically used the club to try and get their own way that makes most fans dislike and not trust them. I'm not going into it all again but their history is there for all to see.

    Can we compete

I think we would have to rely on the management duo producing a team that plays well above their financial station, something I think that they are capable of doing. I noticed that Robins, in one of his lockdown Q and A sessions, said that this year's budget was no where near a lot of clubs in...

    Championies, Championies

Wouldn't that see Ipswich and Bristol Rovers promoted? This seems the most bizarre method of sorting the season out.

    Magnus Hedman

The football under Reid was awful as were his signigs. He jettisoned Gudjonson who had been great for us under Black, sent McSheffrey out on loan to Luton with his replacement being a Man Utd youth player (can't remember his name) who did nothing for us or in his later career. When he left, we...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

We had 55K at Wembley for the Charity Shield.

I never rated him very highly. Oggy was never afraid to put his head in when boots were flying. Can't say the same for Magnus.

Assuming we are promoted - your thoughts

Hope so! Need to fall over the brink.

    National league cancelled

I wouldn’t want to say as any info I put on here at odd times I wouldn’t want to be traceable back to him. It’s a lower league club.

    EFL Meeting 1pm today

I saw all three of those games. Stoke were shocking all season and in that game we were as bad as them. The one think that you could say for both teams was that they gave their best, in other words Stoke didn’t simply roll over. Ian Painter was the guy who missed the pen and later signed for us...

    National league cancelled

I have a relative who works for an EFL club. He has been told that players will report back for May 16. Staff to be in the week before. This seems to tie in with rumours on here. Also seems a logical time as the current lock down measures seem certain to be eased in a couple of weeks in line...

    EFL Meeting 1pm today

Surely a dead rubber fixture is where both teams have nothing to play for? In those fixtures, Stoke Luton and Everton, each match meant a great deal to us. In addition, Stoke and Luton players certainly weren’t taking it easy and made life as difficult for us as they could.

I just can't see how they can justify such an arbitrary decision. It seems totally unfair. If the leagues have to end then surely a ppg system is much fairer. In these circumstances, why have relegation at all? Just promote clubs at the top of their leagues and have more relegation places next...

    RIP Norman Hunter

There was no freedom of contract in those days. I would think that the likes of Moore would have been snapped up by 'bigger clubs' at the end of one of his West Ham contracts. It now seems such an outdated system but the fact that clubs retained the player's registration at the end of his...

    EFL Statement

If the season was called null and void, I assume all bets would be off and all stakes returned (would cost the bookies a bit). Would they pay out if the leagues were decided on say a PPG basis?
