Yeah. He's a better defender tbf & Sykes probably isn't as direct as Dasilva though.

I'm fairly sure that was tactical. With Weimann & Semenyo both looking to play between the lines we could easily have been caught out centrally. By forcing them wide it restricted them to essentially tossing the ball into the box for 5'7" Nakhi Wells. I would say it'd be interesting to hear...

He did absolutely fine. The whole lazy & not pressing is a myth anyway but, like others, it is a stigma now. This is the other thing with the lack of subs. We were content with how the game was going, making changes to that can have a negative impact just as easily as a positive one.

Decent away performance. Solid defensively, could have been more clinical on the break but good night's work.

His use of the ball has been really poor but with the way they look to use the full width of the pitch we couldn't really do without his energy, workrate & mobility.

Not sure he touched it, thought it was headed by the guy behind. Might be wrong

Unlucky, this is exactly the gameplan though.

Not exactly the most exciting but I think we'll be more than happy with how it's going. Largely nullified the highest scoring side in the division with just one half chance. Sharpen up a bit up top & catch them on the counter.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

"relatively advanced" & "Additional 'potential' investors and funders have come forward" Does this mean those they claimed were interested previously are no longer? Wouldn't be surprised if the new "potential investors" would want them to be in admin first anyway? Either way, doesn't exactly...

Mings & Henderson shouldn't be anywhere near an England squad & as you say Mount simply has to be in there. There's a few other changes I'd make to that but it doesn't really matter too much. Once again it does highlight the lack of balance in the squad/talent pool though; - Only 3 CBs...

Don't think there's any doubt he deserves to be in the England squad, just can't see how he'd ever fit into a Southgate England team though.

Just saw that, impressive but why did they pick "Since May 11th"? If I was a cynic I'd say it's a classic case of trying to fit a narrative.

If we look at all the games Rose has featured in we look far more susceptible with him in the team than the current back 3. With Rose: 9 goals conceded. xGA 7.36 in 274 mins With Doyle/Fadz/Panzo 0 goals conceded. xGA: 2.94 in 243 mins

They supposedly spent around £7m in the summer. From what I understand Wilder was not given final say on signings though & this has been brewing ever since.

Think this was always inevitable, never seemed happy there. Excellent manager though, would not be surprised to see him appointed at Bournemouth soon.

He & KDB in the same team is just unfair.

    Player ratings vs Middlesbrough (H)

Agree on his performance as a whole, the Palmer foul that led to his booking was ridiculous. As absurd as it seems, the drop ball might have actually been correct though. Technically, if the last touch was in the area when play was stopped then it's given to the keeper. That said I thought Panzo...
