i don’t think it’s the 532 that’s made us more solid, it’s stopping playing out from the back and through midfield. Last three were going long including from goal kicks. That and Dovin turning into Buffon that’s made the most difference IMO b

If the striker is out of the area it’s not out of their hands is it? Or that would be a free kick. It’s this sort of stupidity that leads to overhead kicks being banned.

I think a player should be able to stand in front of a clearance to block it yes. The ball is out of their hands and in play, why on earth wouldn’t they. Not sure why it would be dangerous.

Honestly I don’t see why. It’s not a free kick, it’s just a player playing the ball and he should be allowed to be challenged but GKs have a protection field around them these days I guess.

Like I say I strongly believe this is a streaky league with not much between most teams. A bit of fight and a bit of form takes you a long way.
