Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

That’s my one concern about the prospect of Ashley buying us. But then again it could be worse, we could end up stuck with SISU.

Put your hands up and hand over ACL

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

That’s a two way streak. Everyone interested would have to behave equally. Only NEC and MA came close to that.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Fuck me Pete. They’ve been here for 10 years now, they’ve taken ACL to court in one guise or another various times. If they don’t understand the structure of ACL by now there’s no hope for them. All they had to do is read one of OSB’s posts on here explaining it.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Labovitch? Bollocks? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you. I miss him personally. He was worth keeping on purely for his entertainment value when doing live interviews on CWR.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

It would be my opinion that the only reason Tim Fisher is where he is is precisely because we’re owned by SISU. Personally I struggle to think of one tangible benefit to the club having Tim Fisher. Could be wrong but I suspect Tim Fisher last day with CCFC will coincide with SISU’s.

They had to pay it all back didn’t they?

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

It’s still more than possible that Ashley has done a confidential deal for the club on the proviso that he acquires ACL first. There isn’t actually any noise coming out the club that the council has screwed SISU over again, it’s all come from people who like to portray themselves of being in...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

The idea that SISU were ever going to be serious contenders against the NEC and Ashley is laughable.

F me. Me and grendull are on the same page. Maybe I’ll have to rethink this 😂

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Yeah but Byng… Also if he was half way around the track NEC was at least neck and neck to the first hurdle. You’ve got to be in it to win it and there’s no evidence to suggest that SISU were ever in it having not unbolted the stable door.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I had “chicken” Kyiv last night for tea. There were leftovers, maybe I should send them to Russia as they’re Kyivless.

I have to say I’ve supported all the recent strikes. The purpose feels bigger than just them fighting their own corners. Regardless of how difficult the government has tried to make it for them to strike they’ve cleared every hurdle, and convincingly too with high turnouts and extremely clear...

Very selfish. Did she not see Tory MP’s clap for them on their doorsteps? 😀

World cup break - Good or Bad?

Tricky one. Potentially bad as far as form is concerned however given all the off field nonsense it could be good if everything is sorted before the season starts again.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I think that’s a fair point. Arguably the squad is the most valuable part of the club. If she wants the best price she can for the club she needs to leave the tangible assets in the pot.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Think of it as a horse race. The start line was NOI to appoint an administrator. MA and the NEC turned up with a horse each. And they’re off and the NEC has fallen at the first hurdle called outbid on a pre packed administration leaving MA in the lead of a 2 horse race as the preferred bidder...

Such a big statement about the state of the country. I’m old enough to remember the 70’s and how bad that was but the nurses didn’t strike even then.

    Has London Bridge fallen ?

Thought he’d kicked the bucket already for a moment there. Thought the Royal Family was trying to keep up with the Tories for the number of people in the top job in one year.
