    Play-offs

In the past some sides have sold through the FA's ticketing system. That's not a brilliant system either but at least its designed to cope with a fair number of people and queues people rather than just falling over.

    Oldham Away End

Anyone remember being stood on the open terrace at Forest in torrential rain with kick being delayed more and more because the game was on TV and bloody Nelson Mandela had got released right before kick off!

'I judge children by their names'

Wasn't there a whole group of them with kids? If they didn't want to use the resorts baby sitting service then just take turns looking after them. I wouldn't leave my dog on his own if I was on holiday let alone a kid!

    Browns Lane?

They can and if you look towards the start of the thread I said SISU should be straight on the phone. Of course that is unlikely to happen as they have no intention of building a stadium. So as far as I can see this is perfect for the council. Offer them the site and it makes it hard for anyone...

    Agents of Shield

That started after I'd binned Sky. Didn't see anything in the press or trailers to motivate me to acquire it elsewhere. There's a series based on the iZomble comic but it doesn't air over here. Worth a download. Its not very serious, to say the least, but its good fun.

    Agents of Shield

Yep, its great fun. Read the other day the woman that plays May is 52! Like Agent Carter as well. Everything Marvel touches seems to turn to gold. Deadpool is currently breaking records for an 'R' rated film.

    Browns Lane?

The way I look at it is if that's true then its win win for the council. Make it known publicly that there is land suitable for a stadium available to the football club and the council are happy to assist in anyway they can. What do SISU do then? They either have to go for it or have their...

    Browns Lane?

They have land they want, or are least seem prepared, to sell. They are aware the football club is looking for a site. The site they are looking to sell matches the size of site a stadium would need. They have previously gone on record stating there is no possible site for a new stadium within...

    Dads army

Heads up for any iTunes users. There's some complete series classics on offer. Dad's Army, Only Fools, Porridge, Hi-Di-Hi Fawlty Towers and It Ain't Half Hot Mum all reduced. There's also Series 1 of The Musters, which is 38 episodes, for £3.99! Snapped that one up, looks like they're had some...

Paul Fletcher : Ground Share will never work

You might want to read the article as he says it would be stupid to build a new stadium!

    Browns Lane?

You could easily fit a stadium in up there. If you put it on the end of the industrial estate next to the Jag Club it wouldn't be right next to any houses. Improve Coundon Wedge Road for access off the A45 / Holyhead Road. I'd certainly be making some calls and finding out who owns what and...

    Browns Lane?

The stadium part of the Ricoh is under 8 acres. include the Jag hall etc and its around 11.5. Add in the car park and its about 22 acres. If there's a 22 acre site that now could be available then someone from the club should be straight on the phone. Do we know exactly where this was going to be?

Council pays more to rent library site than Coventry City FC pays to lease Ricoh

That was upstairs wasn't it? Looks like its a mirror image of the old shop but on the other side so if you walked straight through the atrium (assuming you can get out the other end) it would be on the left as you go out.

Done a quick search. Unit 4B was available for £61,750 a year. Think that's roughly the same size as our shop. Interestingly also saw a advert to lease our old club shop at the Ricoh, and there's another similar space around the other side which is up for lease.

Its on the end isn't it? You could potentially put ticket windows in for use on matchdays.

No idea how big the library is but we might not need the whole thing. Could it be split into smaller units but still be bigger than where we are?

So we're comparing £110,850 a year to £100,000 a year. But of course if we compare the total amounts paid since both facilities opened we have paid far more as we were being charged £1.2m a year. And of course on the current deal we get the Ricoh for 23 days. That's £4,347.83 a day. The library...
