    Doyler song...

I know its been put on this site before but what is the original chart song that Michael Doyles song is based on ? Was trying to sing/hum it to a friend tonight who is shit hot at music but I clearly wasn't doing a very good effort... Artist would be useful too.

    Doyle elbow

In his 1st spell with us, I saw us play at Piswich when Doyle, off the ball, elbowed one ot theirs in the forehead. Ref stopped the game and we feared the worst.... Ref produces a yellow card and shows it to the Ipswich player. Very fair in my opinion !

That works too but not as well as 'filthy'.

    What are the play-offs worth?

It's in the EFL rules that were posted on here a few days ago. I simply cant be arsed to go and find the thread. Same set of rules saying the proceeds of the final (excluding the tv money) were split 50% to the EFL and 25% to each of the two clubs.

    What are the play-offs worth?

The EFL gobbled up all the tv revenue. Sad but true.

    Congratulations

Great to have an oppo fan pitch up on this site & give a humerous, balanced view ! Come back any time FBH. Your posts were highly entertaining. In particular, come and pitch in when we are about to play Plymouth or Blunderland !

She probably was considering all the filthy lucre sisu can attain by selling off most of the team !

    Paul Tisdale

I stand corrected. Didnt realise they had dropped out of the league.

That doesn't compute. How can Exeter have more promotions than relegations yet still be in the 4th division ?

    Weather forecast for Wembley...

Rain in Norwich but due to clear up before much longer. It can piss it down as much as it likes tomorrow as both teams will be nullified by surface water. However, we have the experience of two weeks ago to lean on !

Suburu top - did someone want one?

I'll be wearing a Subaru top tomorrow so if I unexpectedly receive a pissballer, I'll know who to come looking for.... Beware of my son-in-law. He's a strong bastid & usually is on a short fuse ! Tomorrow, he is supporting us but normally is an avid Liverpool fan.... Are you getting my drift SBHH ?

A silly question about McNulty ....

On the same theme, why is anybody called Nobby who has the Clarke surname ? Not all Clarke's can have big nobs surely ?

most ever CCFC fans in one ground

I was also at the home leg and to say the atmosphere from the West Ham fans was toxic, was a massive understatement. On their way out of the Sky Blue stand, they were laying down the threats for the return leg at Upton Park. Turned out to be true and then some.... My mate and me were hanging...

most ever CCFC fans in one ground

Remember working with a V*lla fan many years ago when they played an FA cup game at Upton Park. Very unwisely, they decided to have a beer in a pub near the ground whilst decked out in claret & blue. The 3 of them pushed open the lounge door to be greeted by a sea of polished heads and just...

Yup. The Met were roundly criticised for their lack of involvement that night. Soooo.... when we played Spurs in the FA cup the following Saturday, the police presence was way OTT thankfully. Standing in a queue outside the ground after that game, it was obvious the 'Young Yids' were looking to...
