The PSxG for that shot was still quite low actually, only 0.05. Our highest post shot xG was a header from Simms second half.

All the stats show that it was an even game, Ipswich defended well, made twice as many clearances. More interceptions, more tackles. As usual we had more touches in the opposition box but not as many as our general rate. Frankly, a weakened team came up against a decent team.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

We are a cavalier team, we got caught for the second goal because we had every player in the opposition half. It isn't anything to do with the individuals really it's just the style we play. It's risk v reward and it's generally worked exceptionally well so far this season.

They've had a poor start to the season but like I said about our post Hamer and Gyokeres signings back in 2023, they are signed for years not for months. He's probably done too much at once. I'm (not) surprised that famously loyal "back the boys" kopites are willing to turn so quickly. Would...

We've been really poor second half, not brave at all. Lots of players have bottled it.

Another thing that played a role was the stupid foul given away by EMC in the channel. Just so naive at times.

Really poor defending from the whole team there, all stood in a line ball watching

It's mad, despite missing BTA, Torp and Sakamoto and Wright not starting, we've still got seven players starting the game that have scored a goal this season, six of those have scored more than once!
