It's not. But using "your friend" was a snide comment and you know it. You may as well have said "your beloved". It was a stupid thing to say in my opinion.

We never used to play in the street as such though I did like a game of "kerby". We tended to play down the 'wreck' or hop into the playing fields of the secondary school and use their goals. No dogs either that way.
