They've said themselves the club was set up in response to the clubs move to Northampton, hardly a conspiracy theory.

    Whiff of Desperation, something happening?

The company that owned Rangers, the equivalent of Otium, was liquidated. A new club was then formed under the ownership of a new company.

    Whiff of Desperation, something happening?

You're making the assumption that SISU would fold the club should the share be removed. No guarantee of that.

State control? What on earth are you on about. You're now saying a framework should be in place for private enterprise yet you are also saying we should ignore the framework that the council should be working to that is already in place. Isn't company law the framework for private enterprise?

The desperation to absolve the council of all blame is very strange from some of our fans. This wasn't a bit of spin, presenting the facts a certain way to give the impression you desire. This was an outright lie, repeated multiple times to enable the smooth passage of the sale of the stadium to...

Its not speculation to say that ACL were the ones who applied for the administration - that is fact and you've posted it yourself. We're now retrospectively being told this was all part of some plan on the part of SISU so either Nicks point, that the council were duped, holds true or the council...

The more people dig the worse things look yet there will still be those who come on to desperately defend the council.

This has got to be a wind up. Even Duggins can't be that stupid surely.

    Whiff of Desperation, something happening?

How can the FA take charge of them? Otium is a business that employs people. The golden share being taken away doesn't change that. Otium the business still exists and it still has employees. They can choose to make people redundant but they don't have to. Any assets owned by Otium will remain...

IMO this is exactly what has caused the deterioration in the standard of MPs. Its is no longer people representing an area they have lived and worked in who want to make a difference, parliament is full of people who view it as a career and an easy way to be very well paid.

    Whiff of Desperation, something happening?

If they did take away the golden share, which they won't, do these people realise what that would actually entail? Taking the golden share and handing it over to Hoffman doesn't bring anything else across. The manager, players, staff, academy and Ryton would still be under Otium.

And nurses who work at the NHS can earn more elsewhere, same applies everywhere yet MPs consistently award themselves above inflation pay rises while saying there is no money for anyone else. What the money has been used for in Northern Ireland is largely irrelevant. It was money that wasn't...

    VAR tonight

But if you look at what's being given and what the refs on BT Sport are saying about how they've been told to interpret the rule its pretty much that anyway. Last nights for example, he wasn't leaping with his arms out or in an unusual position but you had all the players in the studio saying no...

That would be fantastic but taking us as an example when ACL filed to put the club into admin, the point at which we would be looking to the EFL to step in, there was a £61m debt to SISU on the books. That is, even if it's thanks to creative accounting, a legitimate debt the EFL can't just...

    What if

I suspect this would be the most likely outcome if they somehow managed to win. Compensation paid to SISU, they take the money and run and we're left broke and with no stadium. Seems incredibly complex to undo the whole deal and rerun the sale. Equally would a judge rule Wasps have to pay more...

    What if

That would never happen, we all know the council are against prolonging legal action with appeals.
