The green green grass of home

Happy days. Saturday morning in town going round the record stores then walk up to HR, stopping off at Fishy Moores on the way. Get their early and stand on the kop behind the goal and watch the warms up. After the match picked up by someones parents and given a lift home and then queue up for...

    The lack of consistency

You don't have to be a statistics genius to work out where its going wrong. Turn those 4 away defeats against the bottom 8 to draws and we'd be 4th, level on points with 3rd. Turn them to 4 wins and we'd only be 1 point behind Luton! To have only picked up 5 points away from home having played...

Match Thread Coventry City at Forest Green Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Feb

Robins messed up the team selection to start with but to be fair with the injury curse striking again he was limited in what he could do during the game. Worrying that potentially we have 3 more players out for a while.

Robins has got this completely wrong today. Ref gave us a lifeline with that pen but even that hasn’t got them going. Will be very lucky if we can get a point out of this.

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

But nobody in their right mind is going to see the attendance jump from its usual level to potentially 20K plus and think we're suddenly massively popular. With Wasps its week in week out and they don't give any indication that a decent chunk of the attendance every week hasn't paid a penny.

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

8K less however many season ticket holders we have. Would be nice to see the snowball effect and the more casual fans making the effort to come out. If they don't then at least people will have to shut up about ticket prices stopping people from going.

    So where were you all?

There's no two ways about it, the lack of an increase in attendance when the team are doing well is disappointing. Even the manager and various players have said so. Of course there's always going to be people that can't go to every game but I suspect some of those who 'can't' go wouldn't have...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

First off the cafe wasn't vandalised in the incident you are referring to. The protesters were in the cafe for approx 3 mins and read a pre-prepared speech then left. The customers in there at the time ignored them and carried on eating and drinking. Second, why is it for Corbyn to comment? Its...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What? According to who? I seem to remember being repeatedly told how much better off we'd be and how we would be in the driving seat as every other country needed us more than we needed them.

With Baker I'd have no objection to him training with us and helping out with coaching in return. If Robins then thinks there's a role he can fill then some pay as you play type deal would be best.
