Rod Liddle article in Sunday Times today

How is it a pro SISU article? About time they faced up to some facts.

    Ricoh

What on earth has that got to do with the comments made by the trust regarding Wasps?

    St Andrews confirmed!

Where was that? I thought their line had consistently be the club wasn’t for sale.

Call to Arms first game of the season.

I would imagine they must do. How else do they get to the Ricoh? No trains, minimal busses. If you don’t live within walking distance there’s not much choice.

    Bond Statement

Isn’t rugby league in the summer? Would mean no concerts, monster trucks etc.

"How do I tell my son/daughter they can't go to the match

What are you on about, they’ve been completely respectful and haven’t plastered their logo everywhere. You’d hardly notice they’d moved in.

    A different point

I wouldn’t have thought so unless you’re suggesting Birmingham’s ground staff aren’t up to the job? Imagine the role of our ground staff will be the same as it has been for years.

    A different point

We do have ground staff and they have their own twitter account at CCFCGrounds Seem to put a lot more work in than whoever has been responsible for the Ricoh pitches.

    Derek Richardson

Maybe their next owner will be someone that views Wasps as a rugby club not a property development company and will move them back to London.

Why will they not sell up

They would have to start a new judicial review but I think there is a time limit so that couldn't be based around the bail out or sale. Additionally 'In mid-April, SISU signed an undertaking to irrevocably cease all proceedings against Wasps relating to the sale and lease of the Ricoh Arena'...

    Ricoh

Its not really been paid off though as they've taken out more debt to pay the original debt. They've gone from owing a £14.4m loan to being over £55m in the hole.

Does Anne Lucas still go to games?

She's doesn't exactly look a picture of health to be fair.
  14. chiefdave

    A different point

The pitch needs ripping up and starting again. That's before the damage the concerts and monster trucks have done. Wouldn't be surprised to see one go down. Not irreversible though.

    Birmingham city fc

If the council were responsible for moving it they'd probably 'accidentally' lose it on the way.

    Could they be still talking

Its a very odd hill to die on when we have repeatedly been told there is zero chance of Wasps / CCC ever being found to be in the wrong. As much as it screws us over it hurts them as well. Either they want us to go bust as they fear the competition or they are genuinely concerned about losing.

Does Anne Lucas still go to games?

    She's Lord Mayor 2020-21

"How do I tell my son/daughter they can't go to the match

Was a comment from GVA to the Telegraph. Suspect it is still on their site if you want to search for it. The point I was making was just because a site is over the border doesn't mean it is beyond the reach of CCC's influence.

"How do I tell my son/daughter they can't go to the match

For planning only up to the border but they have a say if it impacts the cities infrastructure. If you recall we were looking at Brandon at one point. CBRE indicated an agreement had been made, the landowner confirmed (without mentioning the football club by name), Rugby council also confirmed...
