    Trust Statement

They can't, but then they can't justify it now as they are still trying to get one company, Otium, to provide indemnity on an EC complaint made by someone else, SISU, against a third party, CCC. So logically if a change of ownership would mean the indemnity falls away there is no reason for it...

    Trust Statement

They want the club to cover the idemnity not SISU. And a change of owners doesn't stop any potential EC investigation.

    Trust Statement

If we changed owners the issue of indemification would still exist which would rule out a return to Cov. Is getting new owners more important to you than getting back to Cov?

    Wasps downward spiral...

They've also been out doing promotion in local pubs trying to shift tickets at a fiver a go with very little uptake.

Could someone on here who lives in a country still in the EU ask their MEP to chase it up?

WTF? There was only a handful of people there, why was there a need for any security at all!?!

    Wasps downward spiral...

It expired ages ago but they did a deal where Ricoh pay a nominal amount to continue as Wasps didn't want to pay to take all the signage down. Suspect they thought it would be a short term thing but even after Wasps engaged specialists to sell the naming rights still doesn't seem to be any...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Why did the lease need to be broken for CCC to move Wasps in?

    Trust Statement

Will be interesting to see if this is just something that will be put out and forgotten about or if they will be following it up with press coverage as they do with their other statements. Also key is what happens next. Is this just a check box exercise so they can say they've done it or will...

    Trust Statement

Well its an improvement but they've literally done the absolute minimum they could get away with after all the pressure put on them. IMO they should be speaking in far stronger terms about Wasps and dropping the indemnity requirements. And no need to caveat it with the legals, concentrate on one...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Interestingly their current ground is owned by the council. When MacAnthony refused to pay the rent saying it was too high, their council reduced it by 40% and agreed to spend £1m on ground improvements. Now their council are doing everything they can to help them move to a new city centre stadium.

The Premier league is absolutely garbage

Loads of empty seats at the Arsenal v Newcastle game on Sunday. Man City v West Ham tonight is even worse.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

CWR need to get a grip. If Wasps won't answer questions, or will only answer them off the record, then that needs to be reported back to the listener.

    Offside law change

Except it isn't precise. There's a significant margin of error. The cameras are running at 50fps so if a player is running at around 15mph there's a margin of error well over 10cm. You've also got the issue of exactly when the ball is being played. Is it when the foot first makes contact with...

    Training Ground

Portable stadiums are actually being talked about as possibly the next big thing in stadium builds. I'd certainly take something like this in Cov over a couple more years in Brum.

I always used to think of Norwich, Southampton and ourselves as very similar clubs. We're certainly the odd one out now though.

    Saracens points deduction

Interesting comments from their council about how important it is to not put the council in conflict with the club as it may risk the financial and community benefit of having the club in the area.
