New Player Incoming - Leo Ostigard

I agree about possibly reverting to a back four if things don't start well with the back five. However I think the problem is likely to be down the flanks (esp if Dabo) is still out so if we go back four we then have to change what's ahead of them to give them cover. At the moment I could see...

Of course he won't get rid. Looks bad on him for appointing them to begin with. As you say they're chosen for their loyalty. In fact pretty much every Tory that got returned is because they had that 'Brexit pledge' before the election which was really just a pledge of allegiance to Johnson (and...

If you did this though you'd have to get rid of pretty much the entire cabinet. Patel, Jenryck also would have to go. And once you start looking at how many of his appointments have been shite it points the finger at who appointed them and how good their judgement is.

He was alright as a player. A good prospect in his younger days. Then the rest is down to being a solid, hard working pro willing to take care of himself. Someone I've appreciated more as time has worn on, like James Milner. Not a superstar but someone you want around.

Some of it in the early years will be due to spending longer in education than their parents but the days of a decent wage for unskilled work are gone.

I agree. They're talking about the death of High Streets (which began long before this) but ignoring the local community shops that will have been doing better. IMO would be far better to reconsider city centre's/CBD's as less as the business hub and more like a new housing development but with...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

One thing I'm struggling to get my head round is this "sell TikTok to a US company or we'll ban it" from a party that is supposedly small government. They're literally trying to tell private enterprise who can and can't own them. Part of me would love them to sell it to a company from another...

But you will at some point in time seen Sugar advising the government on business. Oh, and Phillip Green. So greedy narcissists seem to be the desired outcome for UK business.

There is an element of that at times. Like with that tweet it wasn't so much the questioning of whether Jones was good enough, as a lot of this board is about giving opinions on player ability, it was more the tone in which it was written which came across as quite nasty.

Depending on the level he coaches at. Lower level he's got more clout having two L2 promotions to his name but above that he's basically no more than a solid, hardworking pro. Keane at least had major silverware to back it up.

Match Thread Sky Blues v Boro (double header)?

Striker next before DCM I reckon. But likely to require one of the current ones to be out the door to accommodate (almost certainly Max)

Shipley's not big on the tackling though. Neither are overly suited to the role.

Match Thread Sky Blues v Boro (double header)?

It's more than O'Hare and Jones will play in a very similar way. If we're looking at two ACM's IMO you're better having more of a mix with one who will take players on and one who will either play passes or look to get beyond the striker. Unless Jones is going to be asked to do the latter he's...

I want him to be successful. If he is likelihood is we'll do well. It just seems that people are determined to make him out as a shoe-in to be effective in the Championship based on a good couple of months at the start of the L2 season before his injuries. He's hardly played since, has had two...

Do we know which shot actually paralysed him? As far as we know it could've been the first or the seventh. I'm still of the opinion 7 is far too many and the officer wasn't well enough trained to have access to a firearm if they'll just fire off a load of shots in succession.

Dunno if anyone else can confirm but I did hear shooting in the leg can actually be a very bad thing to do because it's quite easy to catch major arteries and veins. Plus of course if you're shooting because you're in danger it's unlikely that threat will be coming from the lower half of the...

So? How many Championship games has he played? Two seasons he's played a decent amount of games he got relegated both times from L2 and L1. At best he's unproven.
